The Call Home

My dad picked up his phone and said "Carmen where have you been, we've been worried sick".
"Dad, I'm great, and I have exciting news" I said.
"It's not a child, right?" he said.
"No dad nothing like that" I said laughing.
"Then what is it?" he said.
"Is mom there?" I said
"Yeah I'm here" I heard my mom's voice say.
"Great, am I on speaker?"
"Yes" they both said.
"Ok mom,dad, after graduation last night, I met The Shield"
"Really did you take a picture and get their autograph?" I heard my dad say.
"Hold on dad,they asked me to go wrestle with them! They're going to train me so I can have a career in WWE! Isn't that great!" I said.
"Really that's great!" I heard my dad say.
"When are you leaving?" I heard my mom say.
"Well that's just it,they want to start now"
"But you haven't packed yet"said my mom.
"I know,but this a once in a lifetime opportunity for me,I'm at a hotel with them,so I'm going to go" I said.
"When are you coming home?" asked my dad.
"Not very often,but I'll try to go as many times as I can"
"We're really going to miss you" they said.
"Me too, I love you"
"We love you too, take care"
"You too, bye" I ended the call.
A tear rolled down my cheek.
I have to be strong,I told myself.
Next thing: have my aunt pick up my car. I looked out the window to see Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss get out of a white Toyota Camry. I still have time before they get here, I thought. So I sent my aunt a text:
Hey, auntie Sara, can you come pick up my car. It's in front of the hotel on 7th Street(the one in front of the mall). Ask my dad the questions,not me. Please and thank you.(I'll leave the keys inside the car, don't worry I'll leave it unlocked).
I sent her the text and heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" I said and Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax came in.
