Mac sobbed again and placed his forehead on Cathy's.

"This is all my fault." Mac whispered.

"Mac," Cathy laughed, "you know you're terrible at charades, why even try?"

Mac shrugged his shoulders and sat down next to Cathy.

Cathy laughed.

"You are very strange Angus MacGyver." Cathy smiled.

Mac shook his head and laughed.

"Everyone says that about me."

The two began to laugh.

"Don't make promises you can't keep MacGyver," Cathy softly smiled at him, "it's not worth the risk."

📎📎📎

"Mac," Jack said quietly.

Mac sniffed and kissed Cathy's forehead one last time.

"Are you sick?" Cathy asked as she woke up.

Mac sighed and nodded his head.

Cathy chuckled and placed her hand on his cheek.

"If you didn't kiss me so much, you wouldn't be sick."

Mac chuckled and smiled.

"I'm so sorry Cathy." Mac cried. "I'm so, so sorry."

His tears continued to fall onto her lifeless body. Cathy looked as if she was sleeping. She looked, peaceful.

Riley had her hands covering her mouth. Bozer came by her side and she cried into his shirt.

"Please," Mac begged in his mind, "please let some miracle happen."

Mac looked at Cathy, nothing was moving. Nothing was going to happen.

Mac sighed sadly and began to stand up, until a cough made him stop.

Cathy coughed and coughed until she began to spit up some water. She took in a few, big, deep breaths and exhaled.

Mac went down by her side again. His eyes searched hers.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." Cathy smiled at Mac.

Mac laughed and cried with joy.

"Thank god you're okay." Mac pulled Cathy closer to his chest.

"Aren't I always?" Cathy smiled.

Mac laughed and leaned closer to Cathy. Then, their lips connected.

"Mac, let the poor girl breathe." Jack laughed. "She did just die."

Mac pulled away from Cathy and smiled.

"Don't ever do that to me again, okay?"

Cathy smiled.

"I wouldn't dream of it." Cathy pulled Mac towards her and kissed him. The kiss was longer and more passionate than ever. Cathy kissed him as if the world was going to end tomorrow.
