"What's up?" I asked at the smiling Javier.

"I just wanted to remind you to be back for our sword fight lesson before nightfall," Javier said and I nodded.

"Right! Thank you, do you want to come with us?" I asked as I adjusted my cloak.

"Really?" He asked making me giggle. Honestly, he always had a way to make me laugh.

"Of course!" I said smiling and I was about to gesture to the guards to give him a cloak, but then Kirstein a pixie came and whispered in his ear, he nodded and Kirstein left.

"Apparently, Father needs to talk to me," I nodded, "Next time."

I watched Javier walk away and I turned around towards the gateway. I put the hood of the cloak to cover my head and went through the gateway.

It felt like walking through water as usual, but you're not wet, you just had the feeling of being immersed in water for a moment and then you're in a whole different world.

The gateway opened directly behind Selwyn's beautiful backyard garden, which I took care of from time to time. But nowadays I let the Pixies take care of them, as long they didn't get caught by dangerous men.

"Princess Elira!" Mari hugs me.

"Hello Mari," I said as we pulled away from our hug, "It's been a while since I've seen you!"

"Well, the times you've visited, I was on the other side of the world!" I was glad their business was booming.

"Elira!" A little girl shouted running up to me. It was Selwyn's niece.

"Catherine!" I pick her up and turned her around. The sound of cute giggles comes out from her mouth.

"I'm so happy you visited again!" She exclaimed and I put her down ruffling her hair.

Catherine was half-elf and half-human; a Halfling. Due to the agreements made long ago by my ancestors about being a Halfling, she was only allowed to visit Nura once a month, but it was only because her elf-blood made her weak in the human realm. Though she had elf-blood, she didn't have magic powers, but she definitely had the beautiful glow of an elf. Elves could only last three days in the human realm, sometimes two weeks if we didn't use magic, but eventually, elves had to go back since magic kept us alive, and in Nura the whole place is magic. There were potions made to sustain the life of an elf in the human realm, but it wasn't as fulfilling.

"How are your parents?" I asked and she grinned.

"I'm having a baby sister!" she squealed and I looked up to Selwyn worried, "That's great!" I gave her a high five and then children in the neighborhood called for her, "Have fun!" and she ran off.

"Selwyn?" I ask and he nods.

"Let's go to my room to talk," Selwyn said. I and Tristan follow him into his house.

I take off my cloak in Selwyn's room, feeling free and relaxed.

"Elira," Tristan warns and I ignore him, he was always like that.

"Just for a moment," he sighs.

"So your brother and Eva are having another baby?" I question Selwyn and he nodded.

"Selwyn, you know the consequences if the Unseelie court found out!" I felt my heart tighten, thinking of the horrors those elves would do. But, that's what was agreed upon, 100 years ago, if ever a marriage between a human and elf would occur they were only allowed to have one child, to avoid the growth of a population of Halflings in the human realm.

"I know," Selwyn said and I looked at Tristan, hoping he had an answer.

"Do they have a plan?" Tristan asks Selwyn and I felt like my day was going from bad to worse, with all the news I was hearing.

"They haven't thought about it, but I need your help, Elira. Can't you do something?" Selwyn looks at me and I look at Tristan, who was looking at me with warning eyes: to not say anything I couldn't fulfill.

"I'll look into it," I said to Selwyn and looked at Tristan who gave me a reassuring nod he'd help out.

"I will help her," Tristan said. Selwyn smiles and hugs me.

"Come on, I told them you'd be visiting today," Selwyn stood up and Tristan gave me my cloak and I wore it as we walked out his room.

I spent my time talking to elves who have been working secretly in businesses as humans, I gave them my magical blessing that would help sustain their time for at least another week. Tristan always hated that it was my duty as the only Princess of Nura, but he couldn't do anything about it but made sure I didn't push myself to the limit.

Princesses before me and even my mother Queen Veron had the responsibility to watch other their people who hid in the human realm. However, within the past 100 years, Nura had more princes in their lineage than princesses, which caused a lot of elves to go back home to Nura. I tried my best as the Princess, but it took a toll on my body.

"Tris," I called softly and he was already holding my arms.

"Let's go home," Tris says and I nod.

"Take care of her," Selwyn says to Tristan as we walked through the gateway, and I could feel my magic being restored.

"I'm fine, thank you," I said standing straight, but then my legs give out.

"Elira!" Tristan holds me and I feel my whole body go weak.

My surroundings are hazy and I could hear Tristan talking to pixies. I felt my body being carried and slowly I close my eyes, exhaustion taking over.

A/N: Hey! I can't believe Suga's birthday is so near T.T

Seems like there's a lot of rules, huh? Oh well. Elira will be fainting a lot (I hope that doesn't bother you), I think you have an idea why, but whether to confirm your theories are right or not, continue to read!

Take care always! Love you, fighting!
