Balthazar

I groaned as I saw heart shaped balloons and chocolates. I hated this day, everyone was with there partners and I was alone. I made my way to my house and smiled as I open the door to see Balthazar drinking a martini.

"Balthazar what are you doing?" I asked laughing.

"Drinking a martini. Want one?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes I need one." I said groaning as he made me one and handed it to me.

I took it and downed it in one gulp. He smiled as I handed him the glass.

"Rough Day Love?" He asked smiling at me.

"I hate this day." I said sitting on the couch.

"Valentines Day? Why?" He asked sitting down beside me.

"Every year is the same. I'm alone eating ice cream crying cause I'm alone." I said with a groan.

"Well your not alone today. You have me here to keep you company." He said smiling at me.

I smiled as I snuggled into Balthazar and laid my head on his chest.

"Thanks Balthazar your a good friend." I said smiling at him.

He chuckled as he turned on the tv and I laughed as Titanic came on.

"NO!" He yelled changing the chance.

I burst out laughing squeezing his shirt as he grumbled about the song and how it made him want to smite himself. He chuckled as I calmed down and looked up at him.

"Thanks for all of this Balthazar. You really make this day less horrible." I said kissing his cheek.

(Next year)

I smiled as I came home and saw Balthazar on the couch holding a thing of ice cream with two spoons.

"Oh I love you so much." I said sitting beside him and taking one of the spoons.

"How was work?" He asked with a smile as he grabbed his spoon.

"It was okay. A girl I work with asked if I had a guy to spend Valentine's Day with." I said with a laugh.

"What you say?" He asked taking a bit of ice cream.

"No I have a Balthazar..... which is so much better." I said leaning up and kissing him.

He smiled as he kissed me quickly and pulled me against him and turned on the Tv.

Once more you open the door

"Oh come on!" Balthazar yelled pulling away and changing the channel as I burst out laughing.
