I had been a hunter for ten years before I left. I was forced to leave to protect my son, John. I didn't want him growing up in that life and I didn't want his father, Dean, to find out about him.

After five years though my past caught up to me and I was forced to ask the Winchester boys for help. I drove to Bobby's and knocked on the door. It open to reveal my uncle smiling happily at me.

"(Y/n/n) it's good to see you kiddo." He said hugging me.

"You too uncle Bobby. I would like you to meet John, my son." I said calmly.

"Is he.... you know whose?" He asked looking down at John.

"Yea.... we need your help." I said pulling up my sleeve.

"Is that, what I think it is?" He asked looking at the symbol on my arm.

"Yea. Someone contacted a "you know what"  in the town I was in and now it's after me." I explained.

"Come on in you two." Bobby said moving out of the way.

We walked in and I smiled softly as I saw the boys.

"(Y/n)? Is that really you?" Sam asked standing up and hugging me.

"Yea. How have you guys been?" I asked with a smile.

"Usual fighting demons and monsters." He said with a smile.

"Mommy I'm sleepy." John said holding up his hands.

"Oh I know baby." I said picking him up.

He laid his head on my shoulder and I rocked him back and forth.

"I got a bed you can let him sleep in." Bobby said as he showed me to it.

I laid John down and kissed his forehead as he closed his eyes and fell asleep. I stood up and walked back into the room to see Dean staring at me.

"How old is he?" Sam asked softly.

"Four.... turning five next week." I said softly.

Dean sent me a glare and I let out a deep breath.

"Can we talk outside?" Dean asked grabbing my arm and dragging me outside.

We made it outside and he turned to look at me.

"Is he mine?" Dean asked looking down at me.

"I won't lie to you. He is." I said looking away.

And you didn't think to tell me!" He snapped.

"Dean, I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd want to meet him... I didn't think you wanted to be a father..." I said sadly.

"Well, (y/n), you were wrong. And I've already missed out on some of his life, I want to be there for the rest of it. He needs a father, and that's me." Dean said calmly.

I looked up and him and shook my head.

"Dean... I don't know if I can. If you remember we ended badly and I can't let you come into John's life and put him in danger." I said as he looked at me sadly.

"You think I would let anything hurt him?" He asked as I walked toward the house.

"I'd die for him in a second! And I would die for you right now!" He yelled as I stopped in my tracks.

I felt a arm turn me around and I looked up to see Dean looking down at me sadly.

"All I have ever wanted was to be a father. Please give it a chance, don't let our son be raised without a father. I am begging you." He begged leaning his forehead against mine.

Ten years later

"John get back here now!" I yelled as he ran up the stairs.

I watched John walk down the stairs and cross his arms over his chest. I grabbed John's arm and dragged him into the living room.

"Your teacher called and said you cussed in class and called a boy a jackass. Why would you do that?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"He hit my friend so I called him that. Not my fault he is a baby." John said annoyed.

"Where did you hear that word?" I asked annoyed.

"Dad." He said looking at his hands.

"Dean Winchester get in here now!" I yelled.

I heard running and turned to see Dean run in with his knife and gun.

"What's wrong?" He asked looking around.

"Did you teach our son how to call people Jackass?" I asked tapping my foot on the ground.

"Um..... no?" He said with a raised eyebrow.

"Dean Winchester I have had it up to here! We talked about this! No cussing in front of John!" I yelled annoyed.

"Come on Baby it's not my fault. I can't help what the kid hears. I mean when Sammy comes over he cusses."

"Done blame your brother! John go to your room, your grounded until you turn fifteen." I said annoyed.

He groaned and ran upstairs as I glared at Dean.

"Okay I will try to tell him not to cuss, but do you got to ground him before his birthday?" Dean asked softly.

"I'm fine with you cussing as long as you teach him that he can't say those things at school." I said softly.

"I know and I'm sorry. I'm still getting the hand of the no cussing. Still love me?" He asked with a smile.

"Always, now go check on our daughter she has been to quiet." I said with a laugh.

"Think she is talking to a guy?" Dean asked as he frowned.

"She is nine that's the last thing on her mind." I said with a laugh.

"Still gotta check." He said rushing up the stairs.

I laughed as I heard our daughter giggling and running down the stairs. She ran up to me and hid behind me.

"Now where is my princess?" Dean asked looking around.

I laughed as she giggled behind me.

"Princess Jo where are you?" He asked with a smirk.

Jo squealed as dean grabbed her and tickled her. I smiled as I leaned against the door and watched them. After Dean was done he stood up and smiled as Jo ran to her room. I smiled as he walked up to me and wrapped a arm around me.

"Thank you." He said softly.

"No.... thank you. I wouldn't have them if it wasn't because of you. Mr. Winchester." I said with a smile.

"Same to you Mrs. Winchester." He said leaning down and kissing me.
