I let out a groan as I laid in bed on my stomach. It had been a week since I had last seen my husband and I was becoming inpatient. I looked at my phone and let out a sigh as I saw it read 10:00 PM. I stood up and walking into my kitchen and poured me a glass of (f/d) (favorite drink).

I was married to a man, well angel, named Balthazar and we had been together for two and a half years. When I first met him it was when he saved my life, I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

I had went to the town he was in because a demon was killing people. As I walked down the street I heard a sound and I turned to see a truck coming towards me. Before I could move I felt a hand grab me and pull me out of the way. I fell and landed on a hard chest. When I looked up and met my saviors eyes, I saw a tall man with brown hair and blue eyes.

"Hello beautiful. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm having trouble breathing." He said with a smile.

"Oh! I'm sorry! Um.... thank you for saving me." I said as I quickly stood off and dusted myself off.

"Like I could allow a beautiful woman as yourself to get killed by a demon. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself." He said with a smile.

The car door opened and the man who was driving it stepped out. His eyes turned black and the man who saved me let out a sigh.

"Excuse me." He said softly.

"Wai-"

But it was to late he walked up to the demon and put his hand on his forehead and I watched a light leave the man's eyes. The demon fell to the ground and he dusted himself off.

"Now, Where were we? Oh right, my name is Balthazar, and you are?" He asked softly.

"(Y/n).... (Y/n) (L/n).... how did you do that?" I asked shocked.

"Well, Love you see I'm a angel." He said with a smile.

And that was how our relationship started. He saved my life and then we started to slowly become friends and then we became more.

As I put my glass down I heard the door open, and I smiled as it closed and then Balthazar's voice rang through the house.

"Honey I'm home!" He yelled playfully.

"In kitchen!" I yelled as I leaned against the counter.

"There is my beautiful wife." Balthazar said as he leaned down and kissed me deeply.

"You're late again." I said against his lips.

"Those hairless apes kept me away."

"You know I'm one of those hairless apes also right?"

"No darling you are the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on." He said as he kissed me again.

I laughed as he picked me up and carried me into our room.
