His Promise

Chapter 5

NATHANIEL BLACK'S POV

( Before they bumped into eachother)

" Carl, park the car I have a meeting so it will take longer than it usually does I will call you when I need you " I said to my driver while existing my car

" yes sir" he said and nodded

I turned around and started to walk towards my company

I let out a breath and frowned . I just got here from Japan because of the new project and the first thing I have to do is attend a meeting.

I huffed in annoyance

Suddenly I felt like I bumped into a wall. The first thing I saw was a head with unruly black hair. The woman looked up and immediately stood up and stared at me with huge guilty eyes

"Everything okay there Miss" I asked with a gentle smile

Her eyes looked at me apologetic which made me smile even more. Her expressions were funny

" yes sir I am fine thanks and I am terribly sorry I wasn't looking where I was going " she said apologetic.

" No dear it's fine no need to worry. I would love to stay here and talk to you but I am in a hurry " i said after i took a look on my watch

" Oh okay and sorry again " she said smiling

I just smiled at her already knowing I will see her again and walked away.

I went into the meeting and started to explain the new project

The meeting ended after two hours and I was exhausted from all the speaking and explaining.

And on top of that I just came from Japan. For heavens sake I need a break!.

I took a cup of water and drank it in one sip

I sat in my chair and let out an exhausted breath

There were papers on my desk which made me remember that I put something very important In my jacket

I put my hand in my jacket and my eyes widen when I didn't feel it

I stood up and started to look for it. It was very important. The one who found it would get the half of the company without any problems.

Why am I so stupid. It is actually always Keiren who loses things . Not me. He always lose things but this time It had to be me. He will laugh his ass off.

I rolled my eyes at the thought and started looking for it. It was an important paper. I can't believe I lost it

I am so careless. I ran my hand through my hair and called Carl asking him if he could look for it in the car.

But it wasn't there.

I spent hours searching for it. A yawn escaped my mouth. I was terribly tired. I didn't get any sleep yesterday because of my work

I exited my office and was about to go through my secretary when she stopped me.

" Sir, A girl has been waiting for you for hours. She said she has to give you something. "

I looked at her confusedly

" She is in the waiting room sir" she said and walked away

I went to the waiting room and saw the woman that I bumped into sleeping peacefully at one of the chair's

So cute

She must be very uncomfortable.

I walked to her slowly so I won't wake her up.
