Y/N's POV

"Mom! I'm home!" I shouted as I sit into our scrappy old couch. I wonder why Mom didn't buy a new one. This couch looks ancient. I grabbed the remote and turn on our television. Even the movie available on our television is boring. 90's movies. Ugh! Not my type.

I just went upstairs and grabbed my favorite book.

"So how is Chan doing at school?" Mom asked me about my boyfriend. Chan and I are together for eight months now. We are still together for a short period of time and we are still in high school but Mom already treated Chan like a son-in-law.

"He is doing great. But still bad at arcade." I told her a matter of fact. Chan is really good on composing music and on acads but he is really bad on arcades. When we go on a date on the mall, he is always frustrated when we are playing games since he always lose. Annoyed but cute.

"Invite him here on Saturday. I will be grilling beef." She smiled at me.

"Whatever." I said. After dinner, I went straight to my room.

"Hey. . ." Chan greeted in a husky voice when he called.

At night, we spend our two hours before sleeping on talking to each other. We meet at school but he still wants to talk to me at night. Even if he is dead tired, he will still call.

"I missed you." He said. I chuckled.

"We're just together a while ago." I said. He laughed on the other line.

"Y/n, I think I'm losing my mind. Would you still remind me?" He said and laughed.

"That's a lyric of a song Chan. Don't fool me."

Chan didn't answer. We stayed in silent for minutes. The silent is comforting. It makes me feel that even though he is not talking, he is still there. That he will forever be at my side.

"Are you sleepy?" He asked after a while.

"I can't sleep."I said. I stared at my ceiling and waited for his response.

"Okay. I'll sing a song for you."

Baby I'm falling head over heels
Looking for ways
To let you know just how I feel
Wish I was holding You by my side
I wouldn't change a thing
'Cause finally it's real

I smiled as I listen to him sing my favorite song.

Tryna hold back
You oughta know that
You're the one that's on my mind
I'm falling too fast Deeply in love
Finding the magic
In the colors of you. . .

He continue singing the song softly that it sound like a lullaby. Before I fall asleep, I heard him say. . .

"Good night, my princess."
