It's Not True

~Brice's POV~
(Tears might fall, friend. You have been warned.)

I held Seto's limp body in my arms.

"They're gone?" Ty asked.

"No need to thank me." A figure appeared from the shadows. "You kids sure put up a fight."
He folded his arms across his chest.

"What did you do?" I heard Mitch growl.

"I helped." He said simply. "I sent the sides to an endless void."

"Lies!" Jason yelled.

"But what about Seto?" I felt tears in my eyes.
I moved some of the hair off his face.
'He's only been gone for a few minutes and I already miss him!'

"I think he's dead." He said and walked off with out a care.

"No~!"
The tears were streaming down my cheeks.
Everyone gathered around Seto and I.

"Brice, it's going to be okay." Jerome said just above a whisper.

"No" hick "it's no" hick "not!" Hugged Seto's lifeless body and kissed his forehead.

"Please Brice calm down." Jason said.

"You" hick "you'll never" hick "u-unders-s-stand!"

"Brice, please-" Sky said.

"No! I can't live with out him!" Everyone was silent.
"I didn't even know what made him happy!" I broke into tears again.
Everyone stood there awkwardly as I cried into Seto's shirt.
'Kill me! I just want to die!! I can't live anymore!"

"Brice we'll be here always to help you." Mitch said.
Slowly one by one they left.
They left me with Seto, the one I love.

"Why?! Why goddamn it why!?" I screamed.

"Because, he's had an awful life from the start."
I looked up and saw Ci.
I didn't say anything so he must have taken it as a sign to keep going.

"He hated life. Until you came along." He sighed, "and it made me jealous. I wanted to be the only person to make him smile. I worked so hard to get him to smile, but you could do it with out trying."

"I thought you wanted to see him smile. He was happy and now he's dead!"

"I see I'll leave you two be now." He got up and walked away.

"Why Seto? Why did you have to leave me?!"
I leaned down and kissed his lips, his beautiful lips.
I got up and carried Seto with me, tears still streaming down my face.
'I should have ran to him instead.'
