A/n: Hey guys let me just throw in a little author's note and let you guys know that this is an imagine written by Grace, not me. All I did was proofread and make a few small edits. I've had people ask me to do ones with Lisa and Ben, but I never did because I don't like them, I don't really know why. I couldn't stand them in season 6, so I'm glad Grace wrote something for me. I hope you guys enjoy, she did a really good job.

*Season 6 spoilers*

Description: This imagine takes place during the premier of season 6 where Dean is living with Lisa, Ben and you; his little sister.  You both get to experience the suburban life, but you run into some problems, and Ben, who you have become extremely close to, helps you out.

Warnings: Bullying, violence, the possibility of like one curse word, maybe some self doubt?Also you know, fluff.

Angst is definitely a thing.

     You were skeptical about living with Lisa, someone who Dean had a one night stand with, and her son Ben, who was only three years younger then you were.

     You were sure that it wasn't going to work, that you and your older brother would be back on the road within the first couple of weeks.

     You were positive that some sort of fight would break out, and you would find yourself back in the front seat of Baby before you could get attached to either of them, but that whole viewpoint changed when Dean pulled the Impala, the only home you really knew, into their garage and hung up the keys.

       You stared at the red rust that had grown around the clasp of the key ring from years of mid-storm hunts.  It was breaking; the metal slowly corroding away, but you thought that was why Dean had never got around to getting another one.

     It was the same one that John had given him all those years ago, and it symbolized how long he had been doing this job.

     And having those same keys hang on a hook, in a garage of a suburban family that you were now supposed to call your own? It absolutely terrified you.

     "I know that this is going to be weird-" You cut Dean off before he could finish trying to reassure you, something that you never did, and it showed how scared you really were.

     "No, this is going to be more than weird, Dean.  I thought we were only going to stay for a week, a month tops, but by the way things are looking, you don't plan on leaving." Dean sighed heavily, pushing the tip of his chin into his chest, and crossing his arms.

     "Do you want the truth?" He wasn't looking at you, and that scared you more than anything he could have said.  You knew your brother as well as he knew you, and you could tell that he was about to delve into a topic neither of you were really comfortable with.  You nodded, already knowing the answer.  "I love her (Y/N)."

     That's all he had to say.

~~~
     "Hey (Y/N), can I talk to you?" Ben voice brought you out of the swimming thoughts that were raving through your head.  It had been two months since that talk with Dean, and one month since you started your senior year of high school.
     "Sure Ben-" You moved the algebra homework that you were slaving over out of the way and patted the sheets next to you.  "What's up?"
     "I just wanted to see how you're doing." He was dragging his hands over the tops of his jeans, a sign that he was nervous.
