Lunar Sisters

Chapter 7

This is more of a filler chapter, there is a slightly emotional sisterly scene, so do enjoy. It does look slightly shorter then the average chapter but it's just because not much is spaced out in this particular chapter, no biggy :)

Pipers pov:

I could see the excitement in Ace's eyes. They flickered all shorts of colors. Her wolf was probably howling in joy. Finding your mate was a big deal, and something to be celebrated, but until we know who she is and her intentions there's nothing to celebrate yet

Ace seemed sad when her mate left the room, a little nervous at that. She was scared, I would be too with the situation at stake

Ace excused herself from the dinning hall, I know she needed space so I didn't follow

Everyone looked at me with curious eyes, the pack was quiet, seeking answers for something that would change things for the better

"It's none of my business to discuss Ace's personal relationships with you all. I hope you understand. They need to figure things out first and when the time is right she will introduce her. After all I'm sure most of you know who she is to alpha Ace" I paused, I rubbed my neck uncomfortably before continuing "Until she decides to explain herself, I would appreciate if no one was to ask questioned about the topic directly without consent"  I finished, sitting back down in my chair

The pack members nodded, some mumbling 'yes alpha' before continuing to eat. The pups continued on to play instead of eat, after all they probably got pieces of the buck before it was gone
The fruit slices were ripe, being picked at that time couldn't have worked out better.

Lola seemed pleased that everyone was enjoying the food. I'd make sure to thank her later

After dinner I figured we could all go for a pack run, but that would mean I'd have to find Ace

I walked upstairs, trying to find her room. Zac was behind me, since he would guard Ace's mates door if she decided to come for the run

I found Ace sitting outside her mates door, she was fiddling with her own fingered, sighing every now and then

I walked up to her and she jumped, obviously startled by the sound

"Hey would you like to go on a run with the pack? Zac can guard her door while we are gone" I said, bending down to her level
"No that's okay, I'd rather be here with her" she mumbled, pressing her body closer to the door. She longed for her mates touch, it was obvious

Ace was upset, she'd never pass up an opportunity to run in wolf form with the pack

"That's okay then, Zac can stand guard on the perimeter" I said, looking over at him as he nodded, soon running off into position

"Pips, she won't leave the room. I want to talk to her. To ask questions. What do I do? I'm so scared, I just found her...I don't want to looser her" she said, a lone tear slipping down her cheeks

I smiled a sad smile and rapped my arms around her, she sniffles and hugged me back

"Just be yourself okay, there's a reason why the goddess made you two mates, even if she doesn't want to. The bond will pull you together so there is nothing to worry about. For starts, just walk in and get to know her, or at least find out her name" I said which made her laugh
"Yeah, okay." She said standing up "Alright have fun, though I'm probably going to have more since I'm going to be with my mate" she said with a wink. I smiled and walked down the hall. Off to the woods!
