Pipers pov:

For the past 3 days no males were allowed in the house and non-straight females

Why you may ask? Heat

Maya was in heat

The house smelt of hormones and sex

Occasionally, Ace would come down to get food

The whole house was buzzing. I was shoving males out of the house and locking the doors quickly

"Jesus, now Maya?" I groaned leaning against the door

I had the house on lockdown. It was tiring

Soon I saw Ace come down flustered with a bulge in her boxers

Ace smiled at me before going to leave

"We own strap-ons?" I questioned

She gave a devilish smirk and shook her head

"During her heat...I guess I get a dick" she shrugged and I choked

Her heat should be over in 2 days so thankfully we were half way over

I left the room silently and went to my office

I went over the tape from our pack cameras from when Jack died

I reviewed the notes and what he had said

I quickly got on the phone with Diego

"This better be good. I'm in the middle of a heat season" he breathed out
I laughed in response
"Sorry. I can feel your pain. I'm dealing with this all by myself" I laughed "Anyway. As you have heard from the last fight...we have another problem" I heard him sigh "Marcus found out that Maya has powers" I paused "Michael is back and is their sibling so he has powers as well. Hence he wants both Michael and Maya.
"Oh shit. I'd gladly help in anyway."
"Thanks. The note said if we don't give them up he will kill their mother. Personally and from the pack no one knows the mother and Maya isn't the fondest so we don't mind her...passing. I'm assuming if we don't give them up in 3 weeks time he will take them forcefully and kill the mother anyway. Either way I feel like that's the case" I paused, sighing at the thought of my mate. "There's something you may not know" I mumbled
"What's that?" He questions
"I'm mates with his heir...Keenan" I mumbled. He laughed
"You're joking? That boy is just like his father!"
"He might be...but he's my mate. He cares for his mother so I want her alive"
"Even when he wanted you dead? Piper, whose more important. His family or yours?"
"Mine but —" he is my family, I think to myself

The line goes quiet for a second

"Then you have your answer. If you need I can send over 100 warriors from my pack to assist once heat season is over. For now, maybe try to contact Keenan? I don't know what to tell you"
I contemplated the idea in my head for a little
"Alright, thank you Diego this means a lot. We owe you" I said before he ended the phone

I groaned. This was all so stressing

I heard a knock at my door. I opened it to find Sapphire and Sam

"Come in"

They sat down in 2 chairs and sighed

"So what brings you guys here?"
"Sammy here wants to get his bottom surgery and we need Michaels approval. 1 we don't know where he is since he isn't allowed in the house. 2 we need you to help convince him" I nodded at her words
"Um sure. I'll go to his temporary home. Follow me" I said before walking out of my office. They followed me out of the house and towards one of the boarding homes where Michael was

I knocked and soon saw the opening of a tired Michael

He smiled at us before letting us in

"Yes?" He questioned. Sam gave me and look of concern and I nodded to let him know it was okay to ask
"I-I" he mumbled, tears brimming his eyes. Michal grabbed both his hands to calm him "I want to know if it's okay with you of course—if I could get bottom surgery" he mumbled

Michael didn't respond for a minute

He seemed mad

"Hell no. My mate will not be...changing like that!" He growled, running his hands through his dirty blonde hair
"Michael how dare you! He is so sweet. He just needs your support with this. That's how mates are! They are kind and show love no matter what!". Michael growled
"And how would you know? If I recall you're mates with that monsters kid whose equally as bad. Is he showing love to you? No. So don't get involved with something that doesn't concern you" he spat out

That honestly hurt me. I felt tears brim my eyes but quickly whipped them away

"You know what Michael. After everything I've done for you. Been the only one that still likes you after what you did to us! To our pack! I can't believe you would say something like that to me!"
Sam gave us a confused look

"What did he do?" He questioned

I saw the coloring from Michaels face drain. The evil smirk on Sapphires face only grew

"Your precious mate caused the battle that happened a couple days ago. He let those horrid Red Knights in that tried to killed all of us. He did it all for his mate" she spat

The hurt that showed on Sams face was horrible

"You'd kill this pack...for some girl. But you won't let me do something I want that will make me happy and feel more confident as a person?" He said, his fists balling together "And then, how you reacted to finding out I'm a boy..." he said wiping the tears from his eyes

"How dare you! I may want a dick, but at least I am not one!" He said about to run out of his house "I hate you Michael" he spat under his breath before running out of the house and towards the lake

We all looked towards Michael who looked broken all over again

Sapphire ran out of the house after Sam

Michael went to open his mouth but I shushed him

"Don't apologize. And don't expect me to forgive you so easily." I said slamming the door loudly and walking back to the pack house

He'd really done it this time. Does he ever learn?
