Ace's pov:
Maya's heat had ended, best week ever.
I was now cooking in the kitchen of the high rank house that was built after the fire.
Only the Alphas, Betas, and Gammas live here, plus a few guest like Sapphire, Leo, Sam, and Ty.
"I'm going to kill him, immortal or not, he will burn in hell for the rest of time"
I hate Michael with every fiber in my body.
"You can't"
"WHY NOT? FIRST HE DESTROYS OUR PACK THEN MAKES SAMMY CRY!"
Pips sighs. She's always so nice and forgiving. Sometimes that's not a good thing. It blinds her from seeing who people truly are
Sam walks into the kitchen pouting, no not from being away from his mate, from the dysphoria he's been experiencing lately.
"Hey Sammy" Piper chirps
"Hey.."
"What's wrong sweetheart" I ask
I stir the stew I was making, hope everyone likes deer.
"It's just....I feel like I don't look guy enough? I just want to be known as nothing but a guy"
"Sammy, you're the manliest guy I know. You've been through so much and you're so young. You are manlier than any guy I know" I retort to him with a smile
Sam smiles and hugs me.
"Go set the table love, foods almost ready"
Sam nods and grabs plates.
"Pips go get everyone for dinner"
Soon we were all sitting in the dining room eating and talking.
Luke was trying to force feed Ross bread.
Ty was talking about types of wine with Leo and Piper.
Sapphire was trying to convince Alec that Elvis faked his death.
Maya and Lily were discussing wedding dresses, since all the high ranks knew we were officially engaged.
Sammy and I were sharing recipes.
"Elvis did not fake his death!!!" Alex insisted
"Prove he didn't" Sapphire snapped back
"I know this wonderful vineyard in France. I'll have to bring some for y'all the next time i go"
"Sounds lovely" Piper said responding to Ty
"I have a recipe for grilled octopus with shrimp, I'll make it for you sometime" Sammy said happily
I smiled at him "Sounds delicious, I'll make you my apple nut bread this fall, I have a few trees in the pack garden"
"I was thinking a white and black dress, like white with black lace" Maya said, looking over at me with a smile. Lilly smiled at Maya
"Cute!" She chirped
This was perfect, family and friends talking and laughing.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I excuse myself and go check it.
I open the door to see Michael standing there.
I felt a few sparks leave my fists
"What are you doing here mutt" I growl
"Ace-"
"Alpha" I corrected him.
"-Alpha, I'm sorry, I came to apologize to Sam"
"No" I growled
"No?"
"No."
"He's my mate" he insisted, stepping closer to me
"And you're a jerk. See I say obvious facts too"
"Alpha Ace, please let me in" he begged
"Suck my dick" I growled out
"You're being childish" he said, knowing I was playing coy
"I could slit your thoat right now" I threatened
"And I'll let you if I can talk to Sam first"
I sigh and let him in.
We walk to the kitchen, Sam's eyes fall on Michael and they fill with tears.
I swear Michael better do something fucking amazing right now.
