Chapter 15

Pipers pov:

I was currently in my room deciding which dress to wear to the meeting. I could wear a tight fit black dress or a looser black dress

I decided to put on the looser dress, it went up to my knees and was quite nice.

I put my hair in a nice pony tail and put on black flats, it was a lot of black but it was just my style

I walked out of the pack house fiddling with my hands. I'm not necessarily nervous, just concerned with being around so many alphas

I knew I was going to be early and I preferred it that way

Ace was probably going to just make it, but I'd save her a seat either way

I walked down the path to the office building of our pack. The meeting was held in the first room. It was a very big room

I took one of the two chairs at the head of the table and waited for the rest of the people to come

Soon Skye and River were here along with Alpha Joesph from the Crystal water pack. After came Alpha Diego and Luna Claire from the Eclipse pack. A few more packs came. In total there was eight, nine including our pack

Ace came in last, but I didn't mind. No one did

She sat next to me and smiled, I smiled back. Everyone looked at us and we nodded to take their seats

"Alright. First I'd like to thank all of you for coming, it means the world to us that you support us as a pack and we are grateful for it in every way" I paused looking over to Ace
"Now to get on with business" she said clasping her hands together "Priestess Skye visited us a few days ago and brought valuable information to our attention..." she said explaining the prophecy to the pack members who awed at it

They were involved in something way bigger then they thought

People whispered across the room with one another but silenced when I cleared my throat

"In order to win, and to for fill the prophecy, each of us needs our mates. My sister has found her mate. I need to find mine." I said breathing in slowly "The plan is, if you all agree of course, is to do what we call the domino theory" I said motioning for Alec to give out the recent information conceived. It has a signature opening on the bottom for agreeing if they will go into war with us using the theory

"Basically, we believe that if we take out the main leader, or pack, hence the Red Knights, that the rest of the packs will fall with it"
"How are we supposed to do that? We are only so many packs and we're just the east coast. They might have more" Joseph finished
"Like they said, all we have to do is take out the main guy. The alpha of the Red Knights. We could send spies in, take a valuable person. Or we can just rush in when they're at their weakest" Diego replied
"About the important person, we have the alphas kid, she's, well she's my mate" Ace said. None of them seemed surprised just concerned
"Isn't that an act of war!" Claire, one of the men's mates cried out
"Technically but she was on our land so we had a right to. We have her, if he wants his heir he should do anything to get her, right?" I questioned

I saw everyone in the room get confused faces minus our pack

"Doesn't he have a son?" River questioned
"Yes, Keenan Knight, eldest pup of Marcus Knight" Joseph finished

I felt the color drain from my face, I looked at Ace with fear in my eyes

I sat in shock and closed my eyes

He didn't say what I think he said, right?
