I gave Daniel a little smile and he returned it. I go upstairs to Zachs room and walk in without knocking. He was just laying on the bed on his phone

Y-Wacha doin up here alone?

I ask as I walk in and closing the door behind me. I was leaning on the door in his room

Z-I don't know I guess I got bored down there. What are you doing here
Y-Got bored

I say as he get up leaning his back against the wall

Z-You can sit down you know

He says chuckling at the end of the sentence
Then I sit down criss cross on the ground still leaning on the door. Zach starts to laugh a bit

Z-I meant on my bed

He says laughing

Y-Oh

I have never been in his room so that was a huge step for me. I chuckle a bit from the misunderstanding.

Y-Ok

I say walk my towards his bed and sit down on the edge not facing him

Z-dude

I say as I sit next to him as our arms touch, my body is so tense words can't describe it. Zach notices

Z-Are you okay? Your body is so tensed, loosen up a bit
Y-Yeah no I'm fine

I say as I loosen up by body. Zach and I just talk to me each other and have a normal conversation. Then everything goes silent and I check the time. 2:30 am. Damn. I start to get tired

Y-Zach I'm getting so tired, I'm gonna go to sleep okay?

I say getting up

Z-Sleep in here
Y-Huh?
Z-Yeah so you don't have to walk all the way across the hall in the dark because I know for sure you don't like doing that.

I slowly lay my head in Zachs lap as he strokes my head calmly. My eyes shut and I slowly drift off to sleep.

My heart shaders into a million pieces if possible even more. I get up off of Zachs lap knowing I never even had a chance with him. I run into Daniels room crying. Daniel was up on his phone surprisingly and he notices me. I go into his room and shut the door behind me and melt down. Daniel just comes over and hugs me.

D-Hey hey hey look at me please

Daniel says softly and calm as I take my face out of my hands and look at him with my bloodshot eyes

My voice cracking at the word girlfriend as I shove my face back into my hands

I take my hands off my face and just stare at Daniel for a few seconds. I then shove my head into his neck straddling him as he hugs my waist as I cry more rocking back and forth. After at least 2 hours of me crying I look at Daniel with my bloodshot eyes and smile at him as he returns it.
