The announcement/Zach

Y-Yeah so I'm a nerd and I'm proud if it. I got people by my side, kicking it. If you want to be a friend than come with the crew but if you're gonna be a hater than fuck you.
I should explain things. I'm the nerd of the school and I have a crush on this guy named Zach, he's not popular but not un-popular. We've talked mostly about his homework. Oh what I said? See I am a rapper and I freestyle but only  my family has heard me rap.
Mom-That was amazing
Dad-Yeah you should really put your talent in the public.
Y-Thank you guys but I have to go to school can't be late.
I smile as they wave and I exit the door. I sigh and start to walk to school then the next thing I know is that I stepped onto school grounds. Then right away a see Derek. Who's Derek? Oh, he's the musician of our school mostly a rapper. He's a huge jerk and I want nothing to do with him, he's the most popular guy in this school and right next to him is his bitchy girlfriend Lola, she hates me mostly because in kindergarten I got a better grade than her so she's always held a grudge. Then I feel a tap on my shoulder.
Z-Hey
I felt butterflies and I turn around
Y-Hi
Z-So I have a question about my homework
And of course it's about homework
Y-Yeah anything
Z-....Ok that was just an excuse for me to talk to you....
I chuckle and blush then a teacher come up to me.
Teacher-OH Y/N YES THERE YOU ARE
Z-I will leave you two alone
Zach waves goodbye and chuckles.

Teacher-So I asked Lola but to participate and she gratefully said yes but I'm short one and yes I know speaking in front of people isn't your thing but there's this assembly going on and five people have to speak in front of the whole school and I know today's such short notice but please, please, please, for me and good grades
I sigh and nod my head 'yes' as she cheers very happily. I walk into school and go to my locker only thinking about what I was going to say. I take my books and go to my class which was history
Teacher#2-Ok class so-
Then i started to zone out and started writing what I was going to say. There were three total and I sigh in relief.

Assembly time. I start to get the chills. We were hosting it in the theatre because our gym was currently destroyed and vandalized by a couple teenage boys who broke in. Everyone was behind the curtain. First goes Lola than me than everyone else. I put my notecards down and went to the bathroom and I returned but they weren't there. Then I heard Lola talking
Lola-Follow your dream do what you want because if you love it you can accomplish it
That was the end....of my speech that she just plagiarized. I gulp knowing it was my turn and I can't just make up a speech out of the blue. She come backstage and smirks at me
Y-THAT WAS MINE AND YOU TOOK IT
L-Aweeee is y/n mad cause I stole her speech
Y-Yes she is very mad
L-What are you gonna do about it? Throw math equations at me?
Then I heard my name be called out. Fuck. I walk out on stage and see from the corner of my eye Lola smirking.
Y-Hello
I say into the microphone and get no respond. Rude
Y-Uh-Um
I see a teacher egging me on
Y-Forget this
I say throwing empty note cards
Y-See life's not perfect and it's never gonna be
I say taking the microphone off of its stand and hold it in my hand. I can't believe I'm doing this
Y-it's always about abc's or 123's
Then i went over to the DJ set and put in a beat
Y-see with me I used to have a perfect fantasy
I say trying to fin Zach as I browsed through the thick crowd of people I spot him, he's smiling
Y-But that's crushed by stupid reality
I say smiling as everyone chuckles
Y-yeah, I made the wrong decision once or twice. So what I'm only human does that have a price?
I say taking a break to catch my breath as some people cheered
Y-See my life isn't perfect it had ups and down but trust me thing will eventually turn around
Some people started standing up
Y-Yeah I know you're not gonna believe me 'Y/n you're acting crazy' but that's because....I'm a freaking lady
Everyone laughs
Y-so take a leap, take a chance. If I can stand up here and spit this rap than you can walk the walk to where your hopes await, put the key in and open the gate. But don't live in this perfect fantasy cause don't forget there's always the harsh reality
I stop for second realizing what I just did. I expressed my passion with hundreds of people. I gulp as everyone started clapping. I turned the music off and walked off stage.
L-Now that you did that don't expect that everyone would think you're cool now cause like you're so not
She walked away with a hair flip then I feel a tap on my shoulder. Zach
Z-You did amazing. That's an amazing talent you have
I blush and thank him
Z-Do you wanna get something to eat or whatever
I smile
Y-We are still in school
Z-Come on
I smile and give in. He takes my hand and we left the school walking to the park
Z-You have to teach me
Y-It's not that simple
Z-Fine make up a rap about me
Y-now?
Z-Yeah freestyle
Y-Ok, um. Zach...Zach...um...You're so damn fine, you're always on my mind sometimes I wished that you could be mine
I say carelessly but then my face drops realizing what I just said

I smile grows on both of our faces and we sit there talking and him being a fool. Damn I love him
