Chapter 14: I Should Stop...

*Days after Chapter 13...*

Arthur's Side:

After Arthur's biology class, Alfred goes over to him. "Hey, Arthur, I gotta go for practice now."

Arthur furrows his eyebrows, a small blush on his cheeks. "You don't need to tell me everytime."

Alfred laughs, patting Arthur on the head. "Wait for me again, alright?"

Arthur sighs nods and Alfred smiles before running out of the room.

Once Alfred was out of sight, Arthur sighs.

Each day, his feelings for Alfred are just increasing more and more and sometimes he finds it hard to contain when each month or every two weeks there's a girl or guy confessing to Alfred!

But has he ever dated or actually fallen for anyone...? Arthur's mind wanders through his memories and tries to find the answers.

"...Oh, I do remember that there was Natalya but..." Ugh, it was too obvious that she just made a deal with Alfred so she could make Ivan jealous. Talk about incest I guess?

"Then there was also Raven Darklohome but for some reason she always had blue-ish skin." And Arthur even remembers that he once saw her shapeshift. Alfred probably just thought that it was cool. He does like superheroes after all.

"Then there was Tran Chung Lien, the Vietnamese girl but it did seem quite obvious that she had eyes for Mei... Maybe also another jealous attempt?" Arthur laughs uncomfortably. Why were Alfred's partners so awkward? Did he even like them at all?

"And although he's 'straight', he's even rumoured to have dated-oof!" Arthur bumps on someone and the person falls down on the floor.

"Oh no I'm sorry! I wasn't looking-" Arthur stops, his eyes widening.

Kiku Honda, Alfred's ex.

Well... Maybe.

And apparently, the only rumoured one that lasted longer than 2 weeks. They ended things after 3 months as Arthur's heard. Luckily for him, he's been Alfred's friend ever since their first year in middle school so even when they "broke" things off they still remained good friends. Though, again, it's just a rumor so Arthur isn't too sure.

Still, Arthur feels jealousy twist in his gut but he pushes it away. He doesn't own Alfred.

Arthur helps Kiku up and the Japanese teen gives him a thankful smile. "Thank you very much, Arthur-san." Arthur returns his smile. "Of course. It was my fault that I hadn't been watching where I was going."

After a few seconds of awkwardness, Arthur breaks the ice. "Well, where were you headed?" Arthur asks him and Kiku points to the direction of the football field.

"I have to go and thank someone for helping me in PE." Arthur smiles. So someone else other than him is struggling with PE too.

"Who?" Arthur asks, deciding to head over to the field as well. Maybe he could just give a few moments to watch Alfred and their team play and return back to the library.

"Alfred-san." Arthur's smile is frozen in his face. 'Stop it, Kirkland! Don't be jealous!'

"He's very athletic you know? He's helped me multiple times and even with subjects outside of PE." Kiku turns to Arthur, a soft smile on his face. "You are very lucky to have someone like Alfred care about you." Arthur blushes at Kiku's words. "I-I'm sure it's nothing, really..."

"Oh, but he talks about you all the time during lunch, during classes, and even during their own practice." Arthur coughs so hard it almost made him shit his own pants. Seriously.
