Arthur's Side:
Days had passed ever since Alfred had left to cancel his scholarship and Arthur sighs as he looks at the date on his phone.
"July 4th..." He closes his eyes, leaning back on the wooden fence on their porch.
He misses Alfred and has been texting with him back and forth but still. It doesn't match to actually seeing him.
He's sighs, getting up from the porch steps. He's about to turn around when he sees a taxi drive up to Alfred's house.
Arthur's eyes widen and his heart starts to race with joy.
The back seat door opens and a figure gets out.
Arthur recognizes the person and starts running towards him for dear life.
"...Alfred!" Arthur yells in joy and Alfred smiles at him, opening his arms wide open.
Arthur lands in Alfred's arms and they both just hug each other tightly. Arthur could just cry at how he fits so perfectly in Alfred's arms.
Alfred hums in joy, a warm and happy smile on his face as he buries his face on Arthur's soft hair,
