The night

Hope's POV

We put a lot of effort to this wedding. But the most important of my wedding is walking to the aisle and marrying the man that I love in front of God.

Sobrang busy namin ngayon kasi bukas na yung wedding day. I'm really anxious thinking about it. But I'm also excited.

Hindi kami magsasama ni Quen after this family gathering. Kasi meron na tradition na sinusunod family niya before wedding yan yun na dapat hindi magkasama ang ikakasal matulog. Dapat seperate daw para sa wedding day na sila mismo magkita.

I just don't get it but due to our respect to that tradition Quen and I agreed.

Both family namin ay nag gathered together para maka bonding kami. It's just us.  And I'm really happy na lahat ng family namin ay meron na tight bonding. Seeing them talking and laughing makes my heart flutter.

Suddenly merong yumakap sakin mula sa likod. Kahit hindi na ako lumingon I know it is Quen. He rested his chin on my shoulder. "Heeey baby, what are you smiling?" He said with a smile.

"Look babe, tingnan mo family natin. Hindi sila awkward tingnan. They are really cool with each other." I said pointing to them which Quen also follow the direction.

"Well syempre naman. We're both came from family oriented eh." He said proudly. I turned around so I am facing him.

Ugh, this man is so handsome. I can't even resist his eyes and lips. Wait lips? Did I just think of that? Ang sexual pakinggan ha. Dang Hope snap it!

"Babe, okay ka lang?" Tanong niya.

"Yes, love okay lang ako. Ikaw kasi eh, would you please stop being handsome?" I'm trying my best to sound like I'm joking but nope. That's fact. Hahaha

"Oh yeaah, Ikaw talaga future misis ko." Pinindot niya yung ilong ko sabay yakap sakin. He even kissed my forehead. He always do that which nasasanay ako.

"Lovebirds! Baka gusto niyong saluhan kami dito?" My dad shouted. Quen and I both laugh. Pero syempre nahiya din kami ng konti.

Nasa table na kaming dalawa ni Quen. I'm just listening to my dad talking about setting up another family gathering sa future after our marriage ni Quen and all of us agreed that we should to it more often.

Since they want na strong yung bonding ng future kids namin sa both sides. "You know anak. Gusto ko ng isang dosenang apo." What the hell dad? Muntik na akong mabulunan sa sinabi ni Daddy. I look at Quen and I can see that he's about to speak which he did.

"Of course daddy John. Para naman whole basketball team diba?" He joked. Really Quen? Really? Siniko ko nga tagiliran niya.

"AWWW!" He said lahat na katingin sa kanya. "You good son?"Tito Ricky asked.

"Yeaah Dad, I just hit something on the floor." He lied. I death glared him but he seems enjoying the topic. Ugh! Boys.

"So when are you planning to do the honeymoon?" Dad teased. Seriously Dad, why are you insisting this kind of conversation in front of everyone.

"After the wedding daddy John. Hope and I talked already about it. The place is in Maldives kasi yun yung dream destination namin." He said buti naman maayos niyang sinagot. Kundi babatukan ko siya kapag sinakyan niya pa yung daddy ko.

"That's a nice place." Tita Bamby said and she smiled to us. We're all smiling anyways. Hahaha

"I bet Quen can't wait." Javy winked. Dang Javy! Which caused them to laughed. Naki sabay din si Quen. Kita mo tong mokong na to he even enjoying all the teasing while me on the other side eh parang tomato na sa sobrang blush. Blush of embarrassment people.

"So here it is! I think we should make a toss. FOR THE FUTURE MR AND MRS ENRIQUE GIL!" Then everyone of us made a tossed "Cheers!" We said in unison.

Enrique's POV

Pagkatapos ng small gathering namin. Unti-unti na kaming nagpaalam. Na una na sila daddy tsaka yung mommy ni Hope kasi it's getting late na eh.

While kami ni Javy nagpahuli nalang. I wanted to talk to Hope kasi hindi kami magkasama ngayong gabi.

Pero bukas eh magkikita naman Kami. Naguusap kami ngayon ni Javy about sa mga sport cars and other stuff until it led to serious things.

"So bro, it's your wedding tomorrow, are you excited?"

"Yeah man. Ngayon lang ako na excite ng ganito. Finally, I'm marrying my dream girl."

"Oo nga eh, a years ago we were just kids tapos ngayon eto na. We are all going to different paths. You, getting married, Andy finished her college and me working pl lus still handsome." He joked. I just rolled my eyes. Korny eh.

"Kaya nga eh, soon bro you'll have your own family din. I can't wait for that day na our kids will play together."

"Yes, I like that. And Ikaw ha. Gusto mo talagang mag stay pa ng late dito. Eh bukas magkikita naman kayo ni Hope." He teased.

"Syempre. Gusto ko lang naman i make sure na hindi siya tatakbo sa wedding namin no." I joked.

"Hahaha! Dude, Hope will not do that. You're so paranoid."

"Nahh, I'm kidding Jav. I know she won't do that. I just wanna see her before we go. I guess when you're so much in love with someone eh you don't want to be away from them. Even if it's a small period of time."

"I guess. I'm glad you're like papa. He's the best teacher. He raised both us."

I just smiled.

"Go talk to your girl before we head home." He walked away pupunta kay tito John.

Hinanap ko naman si Hope and I spotted her talking to her younger sibling Loni. She smiled when she saw me walking towards her.

"Hey love." I hugged her.

"You're still here. Akala ko you headed home na."

"Hindi pa eh, I just wanted to see you muna. Before we go home."

"Aww love. You missed me already?" She smiled.

"Oo naman. And I want to say how much I love you Hope Elizabeth Soberano. And I can't wait to marry you tomorrow." Hinawakan ko yung kamay niya at tiningnan ko siya sa mga mata niya I wanted her to know how much I love her. "You know, you did changed me a lot. Unang kita ko pa lang sayo I already knew that there's something about you. Thank you for not giving up on me. You're the best thing I ever had. And I wouldn't trade you to any material things in the world. You're my world and my whole life." Habang natapos ko yung sinabi ko hindi ko namalayan na tumutulo na pala yung luha ko.

She also start crying and and she hugged me. "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" she said which made me smiled. Nag paalam na ako sa kanya and we headed home.

I'm still thinking how much emotional I am kanina while saying thoses words to Hopey. I've never done that to my whole life.

Ganito pala sa feeling yung sa sobra mong saya at sobra mong mahal yung tao eh maiiyak ka nalang. And you don't care if you will look ugly in front of them basta you wanted them to see your soft side because you open a part of you na hindi mo pinapakita sa ibang tao kundi sa taong mahal mo lang.
