i can't write colors into words / i can't describe blue to someone who's never seen the sky / i can't tell you how the stars align when i open my mouth / i can't explain how my eyes turn grey in reflection of the morning dew / i can't explain blue in a way you'd understand / it's not just sadness it's oceans and seas parting it's deep and dark and colors have feelings words have emotions / yet i still can't explain how i feel / my hearts numb but it isn't clear / i can't see and the world is dull / i think i'm colorblind / but the rain still pours and the clouds still part / the stars still shine and the seasons change / i die and this world is ever the same
