Chapter 35 - Secret Break Time

After that...

Somehow we resolve Yomiko's misunderstanding.

I play another round with the kids...and finally get to take a break.

"P-playing with kids is exhausting..."

I run staggering off to the staff room.

(I'm sure Tegemi went back first but...)

"Oh..."

As I walk around the corner I notice Tegemi is taking a nap.

(She seems to be exhausted as well...)

She is sleeping peacefully on the desk.

(Anyway, at this rate she might catch a cold, is there a blanket...I mean I could give her my jacket but I'm all sweaty, why am I wearing a jacket anyway...)

I scurry around carefully looking for a blanket.

"Hmm...Mina?"

"Oh! I'm sorry, did I wake you up?"

Her eyes crack open, and she looks up at me.

"Nope...It's alright."

Her face goes a bit red in embarrassment.

"Mina, did you see my sleeping face?"

"Yeah, you're beautiful even when you're sleeping and your loud snore is cute." I said casually without thinking.

"Geez, Mina." she punch me lightly in the shoulder a she grew more redder.

"Well, I don't mind if it's just you, we've eventually gonna sleep together when we get married, so it's better if you know early."

(M-Marriage?!) I feel my ears are getting hot.

Saying this Tegemi stretches the tiredness out of her body,

"Hmm~ Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep."

"Taking care of the kids, really is hard work."

"Ahahaha, yeah." I replied.

"After all, I guess I left all of the kids to you, Mina."

"Oh, I don't mind I like taking care of them after all."

"Oh? That'd be nice..."

She said as she casts her eyes down as though in thought...

Eventually, she looks at me with slightly colored cheeks.

"But I really can't go down this easily,"

"Huh?"

"just imagine if we had kids of our own." she casually said.

A moment late, the meaning of those words finally hits me.

We were surrounded by an awkward silence for a moment.

"R-right kids of our own..."

"Do you want to make one, now?" she asked as she slowly moves her face closer to me.

"H-Huh? R-Right now?!" I can feel my heart beating crazy as she slowly moves cornering me behind the staff room door.

(R-Right here?! Right now!)

"Err...umm."

"Just kidding."

"Eh?"

"Ehehehe, you have to take me to dinner first before that."
