"Be good, son," istriktong bilin ni Cyan sa panganay niyang anak.

Marcus grins down at her mother. His eyes shining with a mischievous glint, causing Cyan's eyes to narrow at her son.

Kahit na pa trese anyos pa lamang si Marcus ay natangkaran na niya kanyang ina dahil sa taglay na dugo niya ng pagiging Alpha. This is his first day of school as a Grade-8 high school student. At gusto na niyang makarating agad sa kanilang paaralan para maipagmalaki ang bago niyang kotse.

"I'm serious, Marcus," she repeated, sounding even more strict.

Marcus raised his right hand, "I promise I'll be good, mom."

"You better be or I will take back your new car," she threatened him.

Marcus cowered from her gaze because of that. Napaatras pa ito at saglit na sumulyap sa bagong kotse bago tumingin sa ina. Cyan's hard gaze did not waver.

"Promise po talaga, mom. Magpapakabait ako."

"Don't worry, aunt Cyan. I will make sure to look after him," said Liza, Gabriel and Elyssa's daughter who is just a year younger than Marcus. She stood beside Marcus and smiled teasingly up at him. Marcus scowled at his cousin, giving her a death glare but Liza only smirked back at him in return.

"Thank you, Liza," sabi ni Cyan. She rolled her eyes. Sanay na sanay na silang nagbabangayan ang dalawang ito. "Inform me if Marcus will do something stupid again," bilin muli ni Cyan.

"Mom!"

"Don't whine, son. Only girls whine," sabat ni Lawrence na siyang kararating lamang at akay sa isang kamay ang siyam na taong gulang nilang bunso, si Crystal.

Marcus grins at the sight of his father whom he idolizes so much.

"Mom is being hard on me again, dad," pagsusumbong nito.

Cyan crossed her arms in front of her chest and taps her right foot on the ground, scowling at the two. Lawrence avoided Cyan's gaze, which made Liza bit her lip to stop herself from giggling.

"You're mother is right. You need to behave in school. Wala akong magagawa if ever she decided to take back your new car."

"But you're the Alpha!"

"And she's the real boss. Come on before she changes her mind and not let you go out for months."

Natawa ng malakas si Liza habang sumasakay sa kotse nito nang marinig iyon, bagay na lalong ikinainis ni Marcus.

"Fine," he grunted and hugged his father.

"How about me? Aren't you going to give me a hug before you go?" tila nagtatampong tanong ni Cyan sa panganay na anak.

Napasimangot si Marcus, pilit na pinipigilang bumigay sa kunwa'y malungkot na tingin ng ina. Marcus groaned. Hindi niya matitiis si Cyan. He really loves his mother, kahit na pa mas istrikto pa ito kaysa sa daddy niya.

"I love you, mom," nahihiyang sabi niya at niyakap ang ina bago ito hinagkan sa pisngi.

Cyan smiled and kissed him back on his cheeks, causing him to blush.

"Binata ka na talaga. Ayaw na magpa-kiss," natatawang sabi niya sa anak.

Marcus groaned louder. Lalo namang lumakas ang tawa ni Liza mula sa pink nitong kotse. He went to his brand new car which is the latest model of Toyota.
