Second Date

I was getting ready for our date. I felt extremely happy but I couldn't help to feel worried after my dream. When I was I was getting closer to your house I couldn't help but to feel nervous; what if my dream came true. But once I spotted your house and didn't see any police or an ambulance the heaviness in my chest left. I then knocked on your door and after a couple of seconds it opened revealing you.

"Hi", you said shyly.

Cute.

"Hi are you ready to go", I asked trying to hold back my smile.

"Yeah", you replied.

We then got into my car.

"Where are we going"?

"Hmmm I was thinking of maybe getting some ice cream. What do you think", I asked.

"That sounds good. I love ice cream". Just bring up ice cream made your face burst into joy.

"That's good".

"I didn't know you liked sweets", I said.

"Oh yeah I love anything sweet or sour and you"?

"I like things not too sweet". That wasn't a complete lie. Sweets were never my thing I enjoyed the bitter taste of things a lot more. But somehow today I really enjoyed the sweet taste of sugar.

And we spent the rest of the day just like that talking. Only focused on each other and on each other's words. Not worried about anything around us or realizing time go by. Sooner or later we realized it  was getting closer to the end of the day, which meant we had to say goodbye.

"So, do you want to go on another date on Wednesday"? I couldn't help but to be nervous at your response. What if you didn't enjoy yourself ? What if you said no? If i hadn't have changed and was the same as I was before when I first met you  I would never be in this situation or would ever experience these emotions . I now wonder when was it that I feel for you?

"Sure I had a really good time", you said while having a gentle smilie.

I couldn't help but to smile back at you, "I'm happy to hear that you had a good time".

Short chapter this chapter was really hard for me to write. I didn't know how to make things romantic even thought that's what this whole book is basically about. Anyways thank you for reading bye~

I recently read unrequited by springbts  and that book is just beautiful and so detailed that I was like wow my book is trash so I tried to be more detailed; but I'll just have to keep practicing. I loved how they said you instead of her or she so I decided to try it out.
