Seoul World Cup Stadium

The lights dimmed and the music abruptly ended. The whole stadium was filled with a wave of yellow lights provided by the official lightstick of the fandom. Despite being tired, everyone anticipated what's going to happen next after almost two hours of the concert. It was the last show for the tour and it was a very sentimental one because there were talks that it would be the group's last concert ever.

After a minute of waiting, the stage lit up revealing the five members with their own spotlights. They were all wearing black pants and white dress shirts, styled according to their preferences.

The eldest cleared his throat before putting the mic near his mouth. "Again, good evening to our lovely K-V.I.P.s. It was truly a privilege to have our last show for this tour to be held in our beloved country. We always considered it best whenever we have concerts here, especially in this stadium."

The youngest nodded and continued the speech. "Our dream started right here and we will always be grateful to our Korean fans who catapulted our way to success. As I always say, 'you are my everything'."

The whole stadium roared in delight with hearing the group's famous catchphrase. The rest of the members however, laughed at their maknae's silly antics.

"Sorry about him, his mother must've dropped his head when he was younger." The main vocalist joked. "But again, with all sincerity we thank everyone for joining us through this journey. Also, we want to clarify something because we heard that there were rumors that this'll be our last concert ..." He paused which made the fans go quiet.

The camera then went to the idol-actor who started tearing up. Upon seeing his face, the audience's reactions varied — some were shocked while others were already crying.

"Stop it, hyung!" The second youngest yelled. "We're still coming back, we promise! Wait for us, okay?" He revealed and the stadium was filled again with happy cries and shouts.

Lastly, the leader spoke. "Without further ado, we'll sing our last song but with slight changes." He smiled. "We will not be singing some of our usual parts."

Meanwhile, a woman with a silver, sparkly mid-length dress rushed towards the main entrance of the venue without hesitation. She didn't bother to wait for her guards as she was in a hurry.

However, some of the fans waiting outside the stadium recognized her and began to crowd around until she spoke with a loud voice.

"My dear V.I.P.'s!" She huffed. "I am terribly sorry for having to do this but I really need to get inside now! You know how my boyfriend would get all sulky if I can't even watch their last performance. I know you love him and I do to, to the point that I might push some of you if you still get on my way!" She exclaimed.

The fans laughed at her statement but knew that what she was saying was true. Her boyfriend was known to be all cool and sexy but he couldn't help but become clingy when it comes to her. They moved away and made her a clear path towards the doors. The staff immediately recognized her and guided her through a route nearest to the stage. Before going inside, the woman bowed 90 degrees to the fans and yelled 'saranghaeyo!'.

Just when she entered the hall, the music started and she panicked further. A different member started the song and she was puzzled by it. She tried her best to run faster with her five-inched heels but a small tumble here and there were inevitable. She decided not to remove them either because she knew that it will just take a lot of time due to its complicated, crisscross straps.

When she was a few meters away from the stage, loud steps approached the woman from behind. She turned around and saw her manager carrying an oddly huge, crown lighstick slung like a body bag around him. She frowned at the sight but her manager shook his head at her hesitation.

"You didn't rush your shoot and fly all the way from Japan to just forget what you promised him." He smiled and handed her the big, glowing inflated prop.

She unwillingly put it on her back and subtly combed her messy hair in place. She straightened her dress and wiped her sweaty palms on its shiny cloth. Walking slowly, she emerged from the cramped hall to a beautifully lit stadium. The woman saw the five members sitting on high chairs, seperated by a close distance, singing their hearts out line by line.

She moved closer to the stage slowly but unsuccessfully due to the other fans that were lined upfront, immersed in the moment. She just decided to enjoy the live performance as well and watched with amazed eyes.

"They're still glowing." She subconsciously whispered.

A younger fan heard her comment and turned, only to be surprised to see one of the members' famous girlfriend and the lightstick on her back. The girl screamed in excitement which made other people to finally notice the woman. Murmurs started to grow in their area and the people's attention diverted to her. They started to take pictures and videos of her and she smiled back but still gestured for them to continue on watching the group.

The members seemed to notice there was a muted crowd noise down the stage but continued to sing while trying to assess what's happening and that's when they all saw a big lightstick glowing from the crowd that surely made each one of them smile.

The woman seemed to notice that the boys were looking at her and she shyly smiled and waved to them. The camera team then put her on the LED screen for a split second and the fans were shocked and delighted from her appearance. Everyone almost went crazy and people started to gather around her. The guards tried to approach the woman but they were having a hard time going through the audience. Fortunately, there was a brave fan in her late twenties that yelled to stop the crowd.

"Everyone! Oppa wouldn't be amused to see her girlfriend get squished! Back off and give her space, people!" She even shoved some girls and boys lightly. The leader of the group saw the brave fan and couldn't help but laugh as he watched her small arms try to protect the woman.

On the other hand, the woman noticed the shouting girl and giggled at her. "Darling, it's okay. I'm fine and I want you to be fine." She held the fan's hand. "Fellow V.I.P.'s, let's take pictures after the concert okay? Don't hurt this lovely lady here." She smiled. "For now, let's enjoy my person's performance."

Luckily, the song was coming to an end. The fans sang along but became flustered when the last singer changed some of the lyrics.

Yesterday night when I
Held hands with you and danced
You're radiantly glowing
Her never-ending smile
Red orange yellow green
An ecstasy I wish to have
It goes with the world
That I want to see and feel

"My beautiful flower's finally here." He ended with breath-taking smirk. "Neoneun naege saengmyeong-eul junda. (You give me life.)"
