Jay finished lacing up his shoes, and stood up looking himself over in the mirror. He let out a breath that he had been holding.
Honestly, he was nervous as shit.
He was still trying to come to terms with the fact that he was about to go out on a date with his best friend. It had been two weeks since the closet incident. He prays that it won't be awkward, he might have to jump into oncoming traffic and take himself out if it was.
The door rung and he jogged downstairs, tripping on his way down and almost snapping his neck in the process. He quickly limped to the door, trying to appear casual as he opened it, revealing Cordae.
"You look good." Jay couldn't help but blurt out, because the man really did. Cordae wore a simple olive jogging suit and air forces. His hair was neately twisted like always and he smelled good too.
The man causually bit his lip, looking him up and down, grinning. "You do too."
Jay smiled, face heating up a little. "Oh this? A nigga just threw this on, you know what I'm sayin'? Light drip."
