Yuto found himself becoming fairly popular among the girls in the school. They all liked the idea of a new Japanese boy showing interest in them. He had joined the baseball team, the coach taking a liking to him. It didn't bother the team, because they really needed a new pitcher. He became friends with all the people in his class, except for the tall one.
He would catch him glaring at him all the time. He could even be talking to some girl in front of him, and the boy would roll his eyes. He didn't find it a big deal, but he didn't like when someone hated him for no reason. He was practicing with hyunggu, throwing the ball to the smaller, when he popped into his head again. "Hey, Hyunggu?" the boy raised his brow. "Why is that one tall guy always giving me dirty looks?"
He smiled, shaking his head. "Wooseok has a pretty good record here." Yuto furrowed his brows. "He's known as the player in the school. Then you come in, taking all the girls he once had."
"So he hates me because i'm talking to the girls he left behind?" Hyunggu thought for a moment.
"Not necessarily. He's very hard to read sometimes, and i think he's just mad because he feels threatened by you." another boy turned, nodding his head along with him.
"Wooseok loves to play with the girls. They all want him. Then you come in, making all the girls want you." Hwitaek turned, over hearing the conversation.
"Think about it. Were you a player at your old school?" Yuto smirked.
"Yup, one of the best." he pointed at him.
"He is threatened by you then. He feels there should only be one player per school. And here, he's the one." Yuto raised his brow.
"Okay, so he treats me like shit, because he's threatened by me?" they nodded, going back to their partners.
"He's just like that all the time. Don't take it seriously." he nodded also, letting out a sigh. When practice was over, he grabbed his things, quickly trying to walk away. Akari had stayed for tutoring, and he was supposed to pick her up. Hyunggu grabbed his wrist, stopping him. "Hey, are you doing anything today?" Yuto nodded.
"I have to take care of my little sister." he smiled.
"Awe, you have a baby sister?" he nodded. "Mind if i go over? You're really good at science, and i need some help." Yuto thought for a moment, before nodding his head.
"Okay, but we have to pick up my sister first." hyunggu nodded, the two making their way to the elementary school. He waited by the stop sign, talking to Hyunggu about school. His little sister walked out, running to him. he smiled widely, crouching down to grab her. Hyunggu smiled, starting to love this side of the taller.
They walked to his house, Akari and Hyunggu becoming friends quickly. She seemed to take a liking to him, because she let Yuto go to jump on him. He laughed, holding onto her. "I love your little sister." Yuto laughed.
"I think she likes you too." they walked into the house, the smell of food meeting their noses. She jumped off him, running to the kitchen. The two boys followed, studying on the table while his father cooked.
