Wooseok woke up when he felt the other leave. He rubbed at his eyes, a pounding in his head. He groaned, sitting up. He looked around, eyes furrowed from the blinding light. He stood up, swaying slightly. The clothes he had on smelled of the night before, and it was starting to get him sick. He quickly threw the clothes off, grabbing the ones he's had at Hyojongs for a while now. He threw on his hat, holding onto the walls as he walked down the stairs.
Hyojong was cuddled up on the couch with Hwitaek, the others all laying together. He looked around, no sign of Yuto. "He left a while ago." hyunggu said from his spot against Shinwon. He looked at him, holding the side of his head. "Do you remember what happened?" he shook his head, the motion causing his head to pound harder.
"Fuck, my head hurts." Shinwon scoffed from his sleep.
"That's because you drank half the booze we had." his voice was laced with sleep, and Wooseok rolled his eyes.
"Don't go home like that. You'll give your mom a heart attack." Wooseok nodded, looking at the mirror. His hair was thankfully hidden with the hat, but there were streaks down his face.
"Did i cry last night?" the two shrugged.
"Don't know. You were with Yuto all night." he furrowed his brows. He turned to them, trying to get rid of the dried tears."I was with Yuto?" they nodded.
"You don't remember?" he shook his head, making him reach up to hold it again.
"What happened?" they smiled slyly, going back to sleep. "Hey, don't go to sleep. Did i do something?" they ignored him, cuddling together again.
"Why don't you ask him?" he groaned, throwing the door open and walking to his car. He prayed nothing happened, because his head was hurting like a bitch, and he didn't feel like dying that morning with a hangover. He started his car, slowly backing out of the driveway.
He passed his house, knowing there was no way he could go there. His mother would freak out, and that would give his grandparents another excuse on how he wasn't perfect. He drove to Yuto's, seeing his car outside. He tried to remember what happened, while he rang his doorbell. He was still holding his head, wondering how he got drunk enough to not remember anything.
He opened the door, clearly surprised to see him there. His hair was curly and wet, most likely from a shower. He was wearing a tee shirt and sweats. "Wooseok?" he closed his eyes, his voice sounding three times louder than it should. He nodded, hoping the boy would let him in. "Hangover?" he nodded.
"I can't go home...because my family would kill me." he chuckled, looking at him again. He sighed, opening the door for him.
"You're so lucky. I was about to make some food." he chuckled, walking to his kitchen. Yuto didn't look like he was hungover.
"Are you not hungover?" he shook his head with a smile, looking at him.
"Well, i didn't drink a lot like you did." Wooseok rolled his eyes, laying his head against the cool countertop. Yuto got a cup, filling it with water and handing him some medicine. Wooseok raised his brow, as he drank it.
"How much did i drink?" Yuto sighed, crossing his arms while leaning against the stove.
"Ugh..." he raised his brows. "I don't even know. What's the last thing you remember?" Wooseok groaned, racking his aching brain for what he remembered.
"Ugh, i was playing beer pong. There was some girl leaning on me." he looked at him, to see something written on the others face. He furrowed his brows, wondering if he remembered something that he couldn't.
"That's it?" he nodded.
"Hyunggu said i was with you most of the night. But i just can't remember it." the other nodded, a deep sigh leaving his lips.
"Oh." was all he said.
"Why? Did anything happen?" there was hesitation in the others eyes. Wooseok watched him carefully, hoping he'd tell him. "I didn't do anything stupid, right?" Yuto looked up at him, eyes filled with something he couldn't name. He hated that the other wouldn't just tell him.
"No, you just...you were too drunk so i had to walk you to a room." Wooseok furrowed his brows again.
"That's all?" Yuto looked away, grabbing some bowls for whatever he was making.
"Ugh...i laid you down, and you wouldn't let me leave." he looked at the table beneath him. Hwitaek had told him that he was clingy when he was drunk, so that wasn't a surprise.
"I wouldn't?" he shook his head, handing him a bowl.
"Nope. you started to talk about some girl that you loved in like, sixth grade, and you started to cry." Wooseok groaned, letting his head fall to the table. He had forgotten all about that.
"I did?" he groaned out. Yuto chuckled, nodding his head.
"Said she left you for your neighbor." he scoffed, closing his eyes. He started to eat, the food being surprisingly good.
"Wow, how'd you learn how to make this?" Yuto chuckled again, looking at him.
"My grandma would make it for me before we moved here. She was the only person i ever really told when i would get drunk." Wooseok smiled, looking down at him. He wished he could do that with his. She'd probably tell the whole world if he ever did.
"It's really good." Yuto laughed, finishing his bowl. Wooseok finished his, helping him clean up. They ended up sitting on the couch, somewhat close. Wooseok had his arm around the back of the couch, Yuto laying on it while holding a pillow. They were watching some cartoon, the noises just being something to distract them.
Something had happened last night, and Wooseok didn't know what. It was sort of awkward with the other, but not in the way like before. Yuto would look at him, then turn when Wooseok would notice. Something about the atmosphere felt off to him, and he tried to put his finger on it.
He was watching the show, when his gaze shifted to Yuto. he was watching it also, face lit up with the screen light. His curly hair framed his face, soft tan standing out more that morning. His heart jumped in his chest, not giving him an explanation as to why. He tried so hard to remember what had happened, but nothing would work.
He looked back at the show, the cartoon changing to show another one. A couple popped up, arguing about something while nonsense came out of their mouths. Halfway into the show, they shared a simple kiss. Suddenly, the memory came to his mind of him shoving Yuto against the wall on the stairs and kissing him. His lips against his was able to drive Wooseok crazy, even if he was drunk. He was almost sure the other would push him away, but he only pulled him closer.
He gasped, cheeks turning a dark red. Yuto looked at him, brows furrowed. "You okay?" he looked at him, heart jumping in his chest. His mind was replaying the memory, making him want to run to his house. He opened his mouth to ask if he really did, when Yuto's phone rang.
He took it out, an unknown number calling. He answered it, brows furrowing more. Wooseok was too busy thinking about it, that when Yuto shot up, he snapped out of his daze. He blinked, looking up at him. "I need to go get Akari."
