Yuto threw on his leather jacket, fixing his hair in the mirror. He combed it back, hoping to tame the curls he hated. He made his way downstairs, walking into the kitchen. Akari was cooking something, his father leaning against the counter reading something to her. He walked in, catching their attention. "Wow, what are you so dressed up for?" Yuto smiled, grabbing his car keys.

"I have to meet a friend for a while. I won't be back for dinner." akari pouted, looking at him.

"Awe, i was going to make you some." he smiled, kissing the top of her head.

"Leave it on the counter for me. I'll eat it when i get back." she nodded, going back to what she was doing. He said bye to his father, before getting into his car. He sighed, hoping he'd be able to pull this off. It was easier at school, because no one really cared. And it was all a game. Now, he would be with his parents and he had to make it as believable as he could.

He pulled up to a fairly big house, seeing a few cars in the driveway. He found Wooseok's familiar car parked outside, letting out a shaky sigh. He opened his door, tucking his keys into his pocket. He knocked, waiting outside. While glancing around the neighborhood, he tried to figure out how long it would take to get back home if something went wrong.

The door opened, Wooseok's tall frame standing there. He could hear the taller sigh, opening it wider. He was dressed in fancy clothes, different than the ones he wore to school. "That's the best outfit you could pick out?" Yuto glared at him.

"Well sorry, i didn't plan on meeting your family." Wooseok rolled his eyes, pulling him in.

"Okay, well you're here now." he took his jacket off, handing it to him. Wooseok hung it up, grabbing his arm. Yuto was about to push it off, when he saw the serious look in the tallers eyes. "Please don't screw this up." Yuto raised his brow.

"What, have you never dated someone before?" Wooseok rolled his eyes, a small smile pulling his lips up.

"Yes, i have. But i've never brought one home." Yuto scoffed.

"Never would have thought that." Wooseok sighed, looking back at him.

"Please, just ignore anything they say." he nodded, feeling himself start to become nervous. Wooseok lead them into a dining room, seeing some people sitting at a table. He pulled the chair out for him, letting him sit. If they weren't in a serious situation, he would have made fun of him. "Ugh, guys...this is Yuto." they all stared at him. Yuto cleared his throat, looking away.

"So you're the boy who's managed to settle him down." an older man said from across the table. Yuto smiled, nodding his head. Wooseok walked to another room, leaving him alone. He looked around, taking in the house. It looked expensive, art and fancy vases decorating the room.

"So, Yuto, how did you two meet?" his eyes widened. They had never talked about that.

"Ugh, we had to work on a project together." might as well say a little bit of the truth. He thought to himself.

"A project?" he nodded. "Wooseok actually does his school work?" the two older people laughed, making Yuto furrow his brows. Even though he didn't like him, Wooseok was actually pretty smart for the way he acted.

"He always does his work." they looked at him, raising their brows.

"Really? We always thought he flirted his way into good grades." he looked at them, wondering how they could say something like that about their grandchild.

"Why would he need to?" he knew he was prying, but he didn't understand how they could say that.

"Because that's all he's really good at." Yuto scoffed softly. Even though he would rather beat the shit out of the taller, he wasn't going to let them say something like that about him. He just prayed the taller didn't get pissed about it.

"No, he's really good at other things." they looked back at him. They turned in their seats, facing him fully. He knew he should have been scared, but he only sat up straighter.

"Like what?" Yuto scoffed.

"You do know he's the captain of the soccer team." they rolled their eyes. Yuto was even surprised when he first head.

"Are you sure? Or did he flirt his way into that also?" Yuto bit his tongue, hoping the other would get here before he said something he shouldn't. Luckily Wooseok walked in, sitting next to him. The other two went back to their own conversation, most likely about Wooseok.

"Hey, you okay?" Yuto nodded, looking at him.

"Yeah, just....how could you let them talk about you like that?" Wooseok sighed, shaking his head.

"I just ignore it." he opened his mouth to say something, but the food came out. They all grabbed a plate, Yuto choosing not to eat as much. Wooseok eyed him, leaning in closer. "Why aren't you eating?" Yuto blinked, looking at him again.

"I promised Akari that i'd eat whatever she made." he saw the way Wooseok smiled softly. He looked away, watching his grandparents talk.

"Wooseok, how did you and Yuto meet?" they asked again. Yuto bit the inside of his cheek, having a feeling they didn't think they were actually together. Even though they weren't, he wasn't going to let this go to waste. He quickly pulled his phone out, sending him a text.

We meet because of the project.

Wooseok glanced at him, nodding softly. He cleared his throat, turning to them. "We had to work on a project together." they glanced to each other.

"You did your work for once?" Yuto rolled his eyes, looking away. He has never wanted to hurt old people more than he does right now. Wooseok didn't say anything, making him furrow his brows. Shouldn't he be defending himself? He went to open his mouth, but a hand on his knee made him shut up. He looked down, to see Wooseok's hand resting there.

They went back to talking, the two boys in silence. Wooseok cleared his throat, looking down. Yuto's never seen him this way before. He was used to him being loud and annoying. "Why aren't you saying anything?" he asked quietly. Wooseok sighed, looking back up at him.

There was a different look in his eyes. Not the usual gleam that would make him roll his eyes and look away. It was more like defenseless. And he had a feeling he felt that way a lot around here. Maybe that was why he was the way he was at school. "Because it's useless arguing with them." Yuto eyed him, before nodding.

The dinner went like that, Wooseok's grandparents calling him out any chance they could. He would watch Wooseok only stare at his plate, taking whatever they said. And for the first time ever, he felt bad for him. It must've been hard to be told you weren't good at anything but flirting. He thought about what the other had said the other day, and how they should open up more.

When it was finally over, Wooseok walked him out to his car. He looked up at him, eyes softening slightly. "I'm sorry." Wooseok raised his brow.

"What for?" Yuto sighed, glancing back to the house.

"For what they said." Wooseok shook his head, opening the car door for him. Yuto couldn't help but rolled his eyes.

"Don't be. I'm used to it." he opened his mouth to say something back, but chose not to. He only nodded, getting into the car. He drove away, glancing at the rearview mirror to see the taller watching the car leave.
