Wooseok walked back into his house, readying himself for the yelling he was sure he was going to get. He saw his parents sitting on the couch, looking at him. He slowly walked over to them, smiling awkwardly. "Hey-"

"Where were you?" Wooseok sighed, looking away from them.

"I had things i needed to do." they tilted their heads.

"Like?" he sighed, shrugging.

"Like personal things?" they rolled their eyes, shaking their heads.

"We wanted to have a family dinner, and you decide it's the best time to leave." Wooseok rolled his eyes this time, turning to walk to his room.

"I'm sorry, but i really needed to take care of some things." he didn't wait to listen to whatever they had to say, instead choosing to walk up the stairs. He fell on his bed, still thinking about the night. He couldn't believe some kids were bullying Akari.

They sat on the couch after him and Yuto talked, Akari curling up in the middle of them. For a split few seconds, Wooseok let himself imagine. He let himself pretend that him and Yuto were actually together, and how he'd help him out with Akari. He let himself pretend like he didn't have to worry about anything, and was holding him closer to him.

The moment was gone right after it appeared. He'd never fall for the japanese boy, and the other made it clear he never would date him. It was just the joy that the other still wanted to be friends that was talking. They were friends and friends only.

Wooseok's phone rang early friday morning, making him groan and roll over. He put his face in the pillow, the sheets tangled around him. The ringing stopped, then started again soon after. He sighed, before sitting up. He was sure his long hair was sticking out in all angels.

He reached for his phone, narrowing his eyes so he could see the screen right. Yuto's name flashed on the screen, his brows furrowing. He wondered what the Japanese boy wanted so damn early in the morning. He yawned, scratching at his chest while sliding the call button. "Hello?" his deep morning voice sounded slightly scratchy.

"You really aren't a morning person huh?" Wooseok rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, no shit. Why are you calling me so early?" he could hear the hesitation in the other.

"Well," his mind cleared, sitting straighter incase anything bad came out of his mouth. "Ugh, Akari sort of wanted to talk to you." he raised his brow, trying to figure out why the girl wanted to talk to him.

"Me?" he could tell the other nodded.

"Yeah, i told her it was too early, but she wouldn't stop asking." he chuckled, laying back in the bed.

"It's fine." Yuto sighed, mumbling being heard in the background. After a moment, Akari's voice filled his ear.

"Wooseok!" he smiled subconsciously.

"Hello princess." he didn't know where the nickname came from. It just rolled off his tongue.

"I was wondering if you could take a day off school." he laughed. He was always finding excuses to skip school.

"I sure can, what's up?" he heard her giggle softly, the sound of running being heard and Yuto's voice in the back. He furrowed his brows again, wondering why she was running.

"Well, i have a school thing today, and since my dad isn't here, i was hoping you'd go." he felt his heart fill with some sort of joy. He couldn't believe the girl wanted him.

"You want me to go?" he could hear the way she nodded her head.

"Yeah, it would be nice. Plus Yuto also wanted you to go." he blushed softly, not even knowing why.

"Yuto wanted me to go?"

"Mmhm. he said that he liked you better than Hyunggu." he held in a laugh, wishing he'd hear the boy say it in person. He waited a moment, before laughing softly.

"Okay, i'll go. What time?" he heard the smile in her voice.

"Ten o'clock." he nodded.

"Alright. I'll be there. Tell Yuto that i'll pick him up." she giggled.

"Okay, thank you!" he smiled softly again.

"No problem, princess." she laughed.

"I like when you call me that. It makes me feel special." he felt his heart jump again. He couldn't explain the amount of joy he felt when he would talk to her. It was like she was his own little sister.

"Well, you are special. I'm just pointing it out." she scoffed, just like her brother.

"Okay, i'll see you later then." the sound of a door opening filled his ear, before he heard mumbling. He heard Yuto's voice in the back, making him scoff softly. After a moment, Yuto's deep voice filled his ear.

"What did she tell you?" he smirked.

"Nothing." the irritation was clear in his voice.

"You two are so alike, i swear. It wasn't anything embarrassing, right?" he smirked deeper, rolling over in his bed.

"Not telling you~" he ended it with a sort of sing-songy voice.

"Are you still in bed?" he scoffed.

"Duh, it's barely seven." he could practically see the Japanese boy rolling his eyes through the phone.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready?" he shrugged.

"Well, i don't have to until nine." the other scoffed.

"Wow, how am i able to have a conversation with you?" Wooseok smirked again, going back to his previous position on his back.

"Because our conversations are amazing." the other scoffed.

"Yeah, as if." the line went quiet for a moment.

"I'll pick you up?" he raised his brow.

"You're actually going?" Wooseok laughed.

"Duh. why would i miss it?" Yuto hummed.

"I don't know, what about your soccer practice?" he smiled.

"Don't have any. Soccer season isn't until spring." the other nodded.

"Oh." it went quiet again, making Wooseok slowly sit up. He didn't know how to break it. He always hated the quiet.

"How about, i pick you up early and we go eat somewhere?" the other thought for a moment, leaving the other to regret even asking.

"Sure, what time?" he felt his heart jump in his chest, wishing it wouldn't. He smiled again, picking at his blanket.

"Around eight thirty?" Yuto chuckled.

"Okay, but that would mean you would have to get out of bed right about now?" he rolled his eyes.

"How do you know i'm not already ready?" Yuto hummed.

"You wouldn't get up early even if the world was about to end." he laughed loudly, knowing he was right. It was the first time he's ever laughed like that in front of the other, and he didn't even realize it made the Japanese boy stop breathing for a second.

"That is correct. Which means i have about another thirty minutes to sleep, so that is what i am going to do." Yuto laughed, telling him bye before ending the call. Wooseok fell back in his bed, a small smile on his face. He didn't know why he always had a smile after the boy would talk to him.

He waited a few minutes, mostly checking his social medias and replying to some girls who had texted him in the middle of the night, before he finally decided to get up. He chose an outfit that he would be able to wear to an elementary school, while also letting him look good. He quickly left his house at eight twenty, his heart pounding in his chest.
