Wooseok was sitting on his couch, eyes boring into the tv. His grandparents were talking about something, letting him zone out. His mother had dragged him out of his room, saying he needed to spend time with them. They were asking him how he was able to make it as far as he has, when a knock on his door snapped him out of his thoughts.
They either didn't hear it, or they choose to ignored it. They continued with their conversation, telling him he needed to learn how to be more mannered. He quickly got up, walking to it in hopes it was someone who could get him out of this situation. He swung the door open, ready to thank the person, when his eyes landed on Yuto.
He was watching some kids across the street playing, a soft smile on his face. Wooseok leaned against the door, raising his brow. Yuto turned, jumping when he saw him. "Oh shit, you scared me." Wooseok laughed.
"You were the one standing at my door." Yuto rolled his eyes, scanning him. Wooseok only smirked, crossing his arms. "Yes?" Yuto blinked, eyes going back to his.
"Ugh....are you busy?" his grandmother choose that moment to yell something out, something along the lines of when are you coming back? This conversation isn't over. Wooseok looked back at him, raising his brow higher. Yuto sighed out.
"Nope." he rolled his eyes again, trying to hide a smile. "What's up?" Yuto scratched the back of his head.
"If you're down, i was hoping you'd join me today." Wooseok furrowed his brows, standing straighter.
"For?" he sighed again, looking up at him.
"My family is doing a thing today, and they were sort of hoping you'd join." Wooseok tried to hide his own smile.
"Your family or you?" he scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"My family. More specifically, Akari." he smiled, loving the fact that his little sister liked him so much. He pretended to think about it, when another yell filled the air. Turns out, his grandmother was pissed at her husband, and was trying to throw something at him. Wooseok nodded, stepping out and closing the door.
"Okay, i'm down." Yuto snorted, walking away to his car. Wooseok followed, eyeing the black mustang. "So you do have a mustang." Yuto turned, nodding.
"Yup, it's my baby." Wooseok rolled his eyes, opening the door. He sat inside, looking around. It was cleaner than he thought, almost like it was brand new. He watched as Yuto got in, seeing a small photo clipped to the visor. It was most likely a family photo, a younger looking Yuto with a baby Akari. That wasn't what got his attention though. There was a girl who was holding Akari, smiling and giving Yuto's dad a kiss.
He glanced back at Yuto, then to the photo. He looked just like her, most likely being his mother. He wondered where she was, because he hasn't seen her, and Yuto's never spoken about her. He put the thought in the back of his head, wondering what he was even going to. "Okay, what is this family thing, and why am i joining?" Yuto sighed, slowing the car down.
"Ugh, i'm not going to tell you what it's about, but just know we have never had anyone that wasn't in our family join." that had Wooseok furrowing his brows. Now he was really wondering why he was going. Yuto never once told him he was going to bring him anywhere, and he was starting to get slightly nervous. He watched the houses pass by, before they parked in front of Yuto's house.
He got out, brows still furrowed. He didn't say anything, but the way he was looking around said it all. Yuto opened the door for him, letting him in. he stood at the door, waiting for him. He walked by, going into a room. Wooseok walked in slowly, hoping nothing popped out at him.
