Yuto was finishing up practice, when his small group of friends called him over. He didn't know if he should join, because one: he needed to go get his sister, and two: Wooseok was there. He didn't know what he did to piss him off but if it was because of his popularity among the girls, than he thought that was the most childish thing ever.
He walked to them, slinging his bag over his shoulder. He stood next to Hyunggu, the boy across from him. He was more irritated now, because he would always piss him off. The other day he smacked him with his backpack, just for standing behind him. He glared at the boy, looking to Hyunggu. "We're going out, you down to go?" he sighed.
"I can't. I'm going to be busy." Wooseok snorted.
"He's probably got a whole line of girls waiting for him." Yuto narrowed his eyes. He'd had enough of this.
"Okay, is there a problem between us? Because i haven't done a damn thing to you." The boy looked at him. The other eight watched them, also wanting to know what Wooseok was holding against him.
The taller only crossed his arm, glaring back at him. "Yes, i do have a problem." Yuto raised his brow.
"Then what is it?" the boy stepped closer.
"You need to get your ass out of here." Yuto stepped closer, daring him to say something else.
"What the fuck did i do to you?" he scanned Yuto's face.
"You existed." Yuto scoffed. He opened his mouth to say something back, but Hyunggu pushed them both away.
"You two need to cut this out. What the hell's your problem?" Yuto rolled his eyes.
"I don't have a problem. It's obvious he does." the boy scoffed.
"Wooseok, what the hell bro? You're never this pressed about someone." Hyojong said.
"He needs to learn how to get his own girls." Yuto laughed.
"Oh my god, is this really about that? I thought you would be mature about this." Hyunggu directed to the taller.
"It's not my fault the girls want me more." Wooseok pointed at him.
"You better shut the fuck up-" Hyunggu pushed them away again.
"Both of you shut the fuck up. They're just girls, why are you fighting about this?" Yuto shook his head.
"I'm not fighting about anything. It's him." They all shook their head.
"Both of you. Wooseok, you need to learn how to keep one girl and one girl only. You can't go get pissed at the fact that he's getting your leftovers." Wooseok crossed his arms.
"He should get his own." yanan scoffed.
"How can he when you've gone through every girl in the city." Wooseok glared at him. Yuto looked down at his phone, checking his time.
"Can we hurry this up? I'm going to be late." Wooseok turned to him.
"You aren't going anywhere." Yuto narrowed his eyes.
"And why not?" Hyunggu sighed, standing between the two of them.
"You two shut it. You both are guys for fucks sake. Learn to share." Wooseok scoffed.
"I've never had to before, why should i now?" Yuto sighed, pulling his phone out. He dialed his dad's number, walking away. The others called after him, wondering where he was going. His dad picked up after the ring, confusion clear in his voice.
"Yuto? You okay?" he sighed.
"I'm fine. You might have to go get Akari. Practice is going to go longer than i thought it would." his dad nodded.
"Okay, make sure you don't get home too late." he nodded also, telling him bye. He walked back, glaring at Wooseok.
"This better be worth my damn time." Wooseok rolled his eyes, glaring at him also.
"Okay, seriously Wooseok, what the hell's your problem?" Yanan asked again.
"I want him to leave." he scoffed.
"Sorry, i can't exactly do that." he glared at him. Hyunggu sighed, shaking his head.
"Okay, you know what? This is clearly about the fact that you are threatened by him." Wooseok laughed.
"threatened? Why would i be threatened by him?" They all rolled their eyes.
"Because you hate the fact that you aren't the only hotshot here." no one said anything. Yuto crossed his arms, mind thinking about his sister.
"I don't need to be worried about that, because i am the only one." Hyojong laughed, putting his arm around Hwitaek.
"Okay, your acting childish. You two need to learn how to get along, or this isn't going to work out." they glared at each other.
"Why should we? Why can't i go my way, and he goes his?" Hyunggu sighed.
"Because this isn't how the school works. You two need to learn how to tolerate each other." Yuto rolled his eyes.
"I have been. He's the one who can't." Wooseok shook his head.
"We should play a game!" Hyojong yelled from the back. They all turned to him, raising their brows.
"A game?" Wooseok's deep voice asked. He nodded, walking closer.
"Yes. it's obvious Yuto was the player at his school. You're the player here. We should see who's the better one." Yuto furrowed his brows
"Why would i play a game when it's clear i'll win?" Wooseok glared at him, walking closer.
"You wish you'd win." Hyunggu pushed them away again, turning to Hyojong.
"Tell me more." Hyojong smiled.
"You two will date each other." they snorted, giving each other a weird look. "You will treat each other like you would any girl. You'll take each other out, you'll flirt, you'll fuck. Whoever falls for the other, loses." The other boys smiled, patting his back.
"Damn, Hyojong's finally had a good idea." Yuto furrowed his brows.
"Wait, you want us to date?" he almost laughed at the idea. He wouldn't date the other if you gave him a thousand dollars.
"Not actually date. Fake date. And whoever wins, is the number one player at this school. And the other can't do anything about it." Yuto glanced to the taller, to see him having the same look on his face.
"I, for one, would like for this to happen. I'm tired of seeing you two fighting all the time. You haven't even been here for two damn months and you've fought more than most people." Yanan said from the back. Hyunggu nodded, turning to them.
"Don't you want to see who's the real player here?" they glanced to each other, clearly not liking the idea. But Yuto would like to stop whatever they had going on. He was tired of hating someone. He sighed, turning to face him right.
"I'm down if your down." Wooseok rolled his eyes.
"No, i'm down if your down." Yuto sighed, walking away.
"Okay, it's on. I have to go, you've wasted enough of my time." he didn't look back as he made his way home. His mind was racing with the "game". He didn't like it at all. But he was ready to get whatever war they had between them over with. He opened the door to his house, walking into the kitchen. Akari was sitting on the counter, helping his dad cook.
She smiled when she saw him, calling him over. He helped also, talking to them about school. They asked how practice went, and he sighed. "Today was crazy." they both laughed.
