Hermit Headcannons

So! I have a doc of all the hermits, and little quirks that I write into their character to make them all unique, so I figured I might as well share the list, to let y'all in on my secrets >:3 Enjoy all my dorky notes to myself 😂

Mumbo-
-Carries a lever in his pocket, to flick when he thinks/gets upset
-Never blushes. Always cries. (He usually tears up, even if he's not that upset, he just can't help it and he hates it)

Jevin-
-Uses his slime as a slingshot (no elytra)
-Super chill, and if you catch him at the right time, super sarcastic

Joe-
-Uses bigger and fancier words the more worked up he gets
-"diabolical rascality and nefarious and murderous impositions"
-places signs to express his love, coz he feels like he can't express it properly out loud (But he can lol)
-the fancy words seem like he's smart and put-together, but he's a chaotic dumb
-has word-color synesthesia

Stress-
-fun accent!!
-goes 0-100 rEAL quick
-the one you go to when someone says "go ask your mother"
-one of the better doctors on the server

Grian-
-will fly. Always. Even if it's two feet to the shulker box.
-high energy until 10:00 pm- That's his bed time bapy boy
-never cries. Always blushes.
-struggles approaching and talking to new people, but is very clingy with good friends

Xisuma-
-seems quiet and composed, but is most likely struggling to come up with something to say
-An absolute derp in everything except admin responsibilities
-used to wear the armor and helmet for health issues, now it's just for comfort

Iskall-
-teases everyone (sometimes doesn't realize if he's gone too far)
-a genius, but acts like a fool so people don't give him responsibilities
-his robo-eye acts like a phone, so he doesn't carry one
-always complains that Ren's idiocy rubs off on him, but he adores Ren

False-
-you can trust her with all your secrets
-"I'm going to murder you" in the calmest tone ever
-always seems like she'd rather be anywhere than with you (she loves everyone, just busy)

Rendog-
-sexy and he knows it
-consciously developed dog-like tendencies to live up to his name, but it's toned down and chill (shaking his head to dry his hair, assorted yips when startled)
-Comes on super strong/flirty, but when you get closer to him, he melts into a puddle of cuddles and blushing
-best friends with Iskall since before they can remember

Doc-
-absolute genius and prides himself on it
-nobody appreciates his humor
-his mechanics are the same as Iskall's (they can talk telepathically to each other)
-enjoys playing the mad doctor, but is really a big softy

Impulse-
-talks about how great he is all the time, but everyone knows he's actually really humble
-tries to solve people's problems with bad humor (can't deal with emotions very well)
-infinite cargo short pockets. Seriously. He's got everything bro.

Tango-
-a cocky boy
-derps around a lot, but when it counts, he pulls out the brainpower
-is "technically" a demon, but you can only tell b/c red eyes, pointy ears and sharp teef

Zedaph-
-somehow always around when a goof is about to happen
-super empathetic, someone you can cry to after a hard day
-purmple.... eyes..... see future in dreams...?
-His phone came with a random person already in the contacts, so now he chats with them and they're digital penpals (it's Jack, for the Easter egg lol)
-maybe secret penpals with Ex too?

Cleo-
-undead monsters don't attack her
-has the patience of a saint
-has summoned Cthulhu and will summon Cthulhu again
-will murder to defend her friends

Cub-
-chaotic capitalist
-loves his friends, but will exploit them for money
-wears the lab coat for making cake, nothing evil (usually just wears turtleneck sweater around town)

Scar-
-friendly capitalist
-can fly, but he prefers walking and seeing the sights. Cub walks everywhere with him
-can work Jellie into every conversation

Python-
-hyperactive dog! Who loves flowers!
-not technically cold-blooded, but can almost always be found sun-bathing on a rock

Evil Xisuma-
-super sarcastic and salty because he doesn't know how to express emotion
-self-conscious of his face (scars) so he always wears his helmet
-Npg is slowly warming his heart UwU

Tfc-
-the cool grandpa that plays Fallout with you
-seems gruff, but is friendly in a mutual, comfy silence kinda way
-super sarcastic, but nobody realizes he's joking

Wels-
-wears his knight armor coz it's way cooler than normal armor
-used to be a real knight
-totally oblivious, especially to flirts and sarcasm
-loves baking, especially in a cabin in the woods

Biffa-
-mostly a robot at this point (backstory?)
-his sense of humor is naturally aggressive, but he's working on it :D

NPC Grian-
-a cuddler
-no inflection in voice, but can read other's inflection
-flies close to the ground with a basic walk cycle
-still kinda bitter at Grian- like a kid mad at their parents, he won't stay mad for long
