all similarities to other stories are probably coincidental.

today was the day.
she stood in front of the school gates, unable to believe that she was now one step closer to her dream. she clutched the strap of her bag nervously before walking in.
immediately, she was greeted by the chatter of students as they rushed about, greeting each other after the end of a long break. approaching one of the benches nearby, she sat down in case her legs gave way from how in awe she was feeling.
"this is it minyoung," she mused to herself, "this is where your dream is going to start becoming a reality."
she shielded her eyes from the rays of the sun as she tilted her head to look up at the main school building, where words were engraved on it along with a school crest.
legacy high school
everyone in this school was an experienced sports player, top of the top in their respective sports. this was a prestigious private sports school where many sporting legends were trained and made.
as she closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, she was barely able to contain her excitement at the fact that her appeal here had been successful.
the chatter around her suddenly increased, effectively snapping her out from her daze.
"what the...?" she muttered to herself as she observed the event.
five boys were walking into school, some speaking to each other and some listening to music.
"i'm new here, who are they?" she approached a girl next to her, who was holding a tennis racket.
"you must be new," she looked at her before smiling, "the five of them are the best at their sports, and good at their studies too!"
she dragged her to one side, as the gazes of many students followed them in.
"hi, i'm minyoung, choi minyoung." she extended her hand in greeting.
"i'm seulgi, its a pleasure to meet you." she took her hand firmly, "hey, are you joining the tennis team too?"
she pointed at the racket that was poking out of her bag.
"yeah, i am!" she replied excitedly before frowning, "so, who exactly are they to even cause such a fuss?"
"i'll tell you more later, the bell just went." seulgi started rushing off to class, "see you in class, i hope!"
still shaken by her first ten minutes of school, she slowly made her way to the principal's office where she was supposed to report. she reached a set of doors, and she gave a polite knock before letting herself in.
"ah, minyoung, its a pleasure to have you in this school." he handed a file to her, "these are the documents you need to fill up and hand in to the office."
