The deciding on roles for the cultural festival continued in the common room of Heights Alliance. I just sat back and watched the events unfold.
"Due to my etiquette lessons, I'm fairly familiar with the piano", Yaoyorozu said. "Would that skill prove useful?"
Ugh, I hated etiquette lessons. Thank god Toyoda managed to talk my parents out of that.
"Synthesizers are essential to club music", Jiro said. "Yao-Momo, you'll be a huge help!"
"I'll do my best!", Yaoyorozu beamed.
"Heyy, we said the girls were gonna dance!", Ashido pouted. "But the keyboard thing's cute too, so it's okay!"
"I'll do the base, so we just have guitar and vocals left", Jiro declared.
"Hmm... Is this all it takes to get a party going?", Iida wondered out loud.
"What about that thing that gets people rowdy?", Todoroki asked in a monotone voice that made it seem like he didn't even know what being rowdy was like.
"We have to add staging~!", Ashido sang while she twirled around the room.
"Yeah, that", Todoroki said.
"Staging?", multiple people asked.
"It's like sparklers or disco balls", I explained. "Basically anything that creates the atmosphere for the party."
"So, for example, Uraraka would make Todoroki and Kirishima float, right~?", Ashido said. "And then Kirishima would chip away at Todoroki's ice! And then since Aoyama will be the disco ball, light will flash all around! TEAM SNOWMAN!!"
"A shaved ice machine", I chuckled as I imagined what she said. "That could work!"
"I'm the disco ball...?", Aoyama questioned.
Multiple people started chatting about the team spirit and how this would be really good.
"We'll need some people running everything behind the scenes", I suggested. "That would make everything run smoother."
"Yo!", a voice sounded from the front door.
I saw Kirishima, Midoriya, Uraraka and Asui coming in.
"Supplementary classes finally finished for the day", Asui said. "Now we can fully participate!"
Supplementary classes...?
FUCK.
"(Y/n), where were you?", Kirishima asked. "Sensei thought you'd left because you weren't feeling well."
I let out a nervous and forced laugh while rubbing the back of my neck.
"I forgot", I said with a sheepish smile. "Please don't tell sensei."
"Of course!", Kirishima smiled. "We'll just say you went home sick."
"Thank you", I said with a relieved sigh.
"Huh, Kyoka you're not singing?", Uraraka asked when she caught up on the conversation.
"Oh no, we still haven't-"
"If it's vocals, let us handle it! We'll be a hit!", Mineta interrupted her.
"In addition to being the disco ball, I can sing", Aoyama said.
"Alright!", Kirishima joined in. "I can't play any instruments, but if I'm singing, I'm confident!"
I furrowed my brows when all three boys went to sing a bit. Kirishima sang the completely wrong genre, Mineta was just shouting into the microphone and Aoyama sang falsetto, which also wasn't perfect for our show.
