I was thinking of -
Griselda - the lost princess who was cursed and lost all her memories regarding her royal heritage, working as a maid, helping Gabe on his way home
Gabriel - a prince, Gris' cousin, who was kidnapped but escaped with Griselda's help and has to wonder why does she seem so familiar. Is going home but it's not as easy as he thinks.
Ingrid - a mage and a troll princess uncapable of transforming into one
Lars - her twin with no magical abilities but capable of transforming into a troll
Fred - a werewolf rejected by his pack because of his albinism
George - a gentleman pirate (what else?)
Ashleigh - a failed godmother in training who has to earn her wings by helping a poor soul in misery
Anni, Andrias and Kuya - Vikings (really original, I know) who have some things to settle with George
Basically: tiny Griselda gets cursed and loses memories, years later Gabe gets kidnapped and escapes, but his way home is longer than he originally thought and with Gris they meet a lot of people along the journey, both friends and foes
