A step towards her dream

Vidushi glanced at Sanyukta eating her food quietly, then at the bracelet she was clutching in her palm, before clearing her throat speaking up.

"Umm Sanyukta ye lo. "

Sanyukta watched her forwarding hand towards her then opening it, revealing a black glass beads crusted bracelet in it and her lips parted a little in shock.

"Ye.. Ye tumhe kahan se mila.? "

"uh ye tumhara hai.?"

Vidushi gave her a puzzled look..

"Haan.

Pata hai ye mujhe chachi ne gift kiya tha college join karne se pehle, ye hamesha mere hath me rehta tha.

Per hostel me ek... Accident ke baad se ye mujhe ni mila, maine bahut dhunda per mila hi nahi.

Tumhe kahan se mila.? "

Sanyukta sounded excited, examining the bracelet in her hand.

Vidushi blinked thinking of an idea to reply her, when it clicked her.

"Batao na ye tumhe kahan mila.? "

Sanyukta repeated uppering her lashes.

"vo tere room me ek coat tha,usme se gir gaya tha toh socha de dun. "

As soon as vidushi finished her words, the smile from Sanyukta's face slowly disappeared.

"mere room se.? "

"Haan mai room saaf kar rahi thi toh vo coat mila aur usme se ye bracelet.

Mai toh puchne wali thi coat kiska hai.? "

Vidushi narrowed her gaze, whereas Parth and Randhir who were listening to everything became a little confused from the back of the closed door.

"kaunsa coat.? "

Parth murmured looking at him intently.

"i don't kn.. "

Randhir paused glancing at his own coat then at him, getting what Vidushi was talking about.

"mera coat, kal Agarwal ke room me chhod ke gaya tha. "

"oh.

Toh tumne sanyukta ka bracelet rakha tha,store room ke accident ke baad.? "

"Tumhe uske bare me pata hai.? "

Randhir asked back narrowing his gaze.

"haan ek baar bataya tha Sanyukta ne college me, tumhari bahut taarif kar rahi thi kaise tumne uski help ki and all. "

Parth shrugged whispering in a low voice, to which Randhir nodded his head somewhere feeling good.

"vo coat pata nahi mere cupboard me mila, mai usse phenkne wali thi. "

Sanyukta lied avoiding meeting vidushi's gaze.

"oh.

Maine usse alag rakh diya hai, tu kahe toh subah phenk deti hun. "

Vidushi suggested , shrugging.

"nahi.

Tum rehne do mai kar dungi baad me. "

Sanyukta shook her head.

"ok. "

Vidushi muttered suppressing a smile, before resuming eating.

After finishing the dinner Sanyukta retired to her room biding vidushi a quick good night and laid down on the bed staring at the bracelet in her hand.
