the rest of the night was a blur. you wake up in sam's arms, turning up to look at him. he smiles.

"how long have you been up?" you ask.

"not long." he leans down to plant a soft kiss on your eager lips. "last night was..." he lets out a light laugh. "amazing."

"yeah..." your voice trails off, and a stupid grin sticks to your face. "i wish things could always be like that."

"they will." you pull away.

"no." you sound on edge, and your sternness throws him off guard.

"what do you mean?" he asks, sitting up.

"sam, let's not ruin this..."

"ruin this?" his voice raises.

"please."

"no," he's shouting now. "i'm clearing ruining this, i'm-" he stops himself when he sees you begin to tear up. "i'm sorry." he whispers. he opens his arms, and once again, you crawl into them. "i just don't want to loose you."

"sam, i love you." you reach up to caress his face.

"i know. i love you too." he cradles you, and kisses your forehead. he begins to whisper sweet nothings into your ear, but it doesn't matter. your mind travels elsewhere. it travels to your plan. and how the hell sam will deal with you gone.
