Dave Hodgman

Version 1:
Imagine you were sitting on the swing, getting really bored when Dave Hodgman decided to approach you and sit on the empty swing beside you to talk to you, occasionally checking you out. He asked if y'all could hang out together and you agreed. You earned some company and you guys ended up chatting happily for quite some time.

Version 2:
You had to babysit your little cousin in the afternoon and so you brought him to the playground. He went to play with his friends and you just kept a watch on him to make sure he was safe. You were getting bored and decided to go on the swing to keep yourself occupied. While you were sitting on the swing, a cute guy from school approached an empty swing right beside you.

"Hi! I'm Dave! Dave Hodgman. I'm from your school. What are you doing here all by yourself? Can I join you?" He introduced himself.

He gazed at you, admiring your beauty.

"Yeah, sure! And I've heard of you! Hi...I'm...I'm (y/n)! I'm babysitting my little cousin...he's there playing with his friends...you?" You mumbled as you looked at him.

"Nothing much, just saw you here so...yeah...Anyways, you know...I just wanted to say that...I think you look really cute! You wanna...hang out sometime?" He stuttered awkwardly, immediately looking away. He scratched his head, lowering his head shyly.

You giggled at his cute awkwardness.

"Yeah sure!"

You accepted his invitation. The moment you agreed, he jerked his head up to look at you, eyes filled with hope and excitement.

"Pick me up at 4 tomorrow! At my house. I'll send you the address." You added.

"Yeah! Ok, great!" He said enthusiastically.

You two both chuckled.

Although you've just known this guy from school, you were really attracted to him. Something about his sparkling whiskey orbs and his silky brown hair. And not only his looks, but his friendly personality too.

Then, your little cousin walked up to you. "I wanna go home." He exclaimed in his cute voice.

You nodded your head, standing up from the swing. You held your cousin's hand, and walked away, leaving Dave swinging alone.

"I have to go now...I know we haven't talked much but call me!" You chirped, turning back to look at Dave while you gestured with your hand.

"Ok! See you...wait! But you haven't given me your number yet!"

Realization dawned on you after hearing that sentence.

Why do you have to be so stupid and forgetful.

You ran to Dave, pulling your cousin along with you. He passed you his phone and you typed in your number.

"Sorry for being so stupid and forgetful...urgh...I'm always like that..." you blamed yourself.

"Haha! It's fine! It's cute!" He chortled.

Your little cousin tugged your arm impatiently, whining.

"Ok, I'm done! I gotta go now! Someone's getting impatient. See you!" You moved your eyes to your little cousin.

"Ok, I'll call you! See you!" You said cheerfully, waving him goodbye.
