Stuart Twombly

@sarcastictwombly, here is your requested imagine!!! I liked the idea and I really hope you like it!

Your rested your head dejectedly on your arm as you let out a sigh. Your eyes scanned the surroundings, spotting Stuart, your boyfriend whom you met during the Google internship. He eyes fixed on his glowing computer screen as his fingers flew across the keyboard. His shoulder was tense, every part of his exuded anxiety and fatigue.

"Stu, talk to meeee." You drawled, fidgeting uncomfortably in your chair. You immaturely whined, skidding around your section in your office chair.

"Hold on, baby, I'm really busy at the moment. There is a request overload right here." Stuart mumbled, casually waving you off.

You took a deep breath and moved back to your desk. Your computer exploded with a multitude of requests but you ignored it. You rested your arms on the table and buried your head into your arms.

You closed your eyes as you felt a hollow and melancholic feeling swirling inside you. The stress of working at Google was finally getting to you and you finally understood why they only accepted the most educated and adept interns. Though you graduated with a high degree and had a high IQ, it was hard coping with the tonnes of work that was hurled at you each day. You practically lived in your office.

Your family was far from home and you started to get homesick. Images of the joyous moments of you and your family materialized in your mind. When you finished work, you would also go home exhausted, your body barely hooding you up. Usually Stuart would accompany you back home before he went home himself but recently, he had been so busy that he would end work hours later than you. He chugged down cups of coffee and his dark eye bags were becoming more apparent by the day. Stuart felt so guilty and apologized profusely, always promising to make up to you after this laborious period.

You sniffled, and realized that drops of water were rolling down your face. You hoped that this day would end sooner so that you could head home and get some rest.
