That was one breathtaking game.
The serves, the returns, the connections made— Mina's lips were still shaped in the form of an 'O' despite the game being over. She couldn't help but be in awe of the gameplay that was displayed today. Maybe she shouldn't be so scared of balls or try to avoid them; she missed out on the spectacle it offered. But most importantly was the duo, Kageyama and Hinata! The brunette couldn't help but scrutinize the two for their weird play that even Takinoue and Shimada couldn't really explain other than the fact that Hinata had truly believed that the ball would come for him, no matter what.
"Well, how'd you like the game, Mina-chan?" Takinoue displayed a grin, a knowing look already set from the way she had looked.
Somewhere through the end of the game, Shimada had left for his deliveries which left her with the man and the elders, mostly her tugging and asking how this and that worked. A tad bit embarrassing but being completely devoid of Volleyball knowledge was twice the more embarrassment. What was she to do if she didn't even know the basic rules to the game?
"Amazing," She mustered up all of her pent up thoughts in a single word. "Like— so beautiful. When they go baam! Or whoosh! I think it is so cool!" Her hands flailed needlessly as she explained, further amusing the man.
"Isn't it? You'd be more surprised to see Interhigh games. They're even more exciting." At his words, she blinked before a surprised look overcame her features.
"You mean, many more games?"
"Of course! I bet Karasuno's going to reach the skies this year. And as for you, Mina-chan, I think you've found yourself becoming a fan of the game, huh? Even though you were so reluctant back then because of your fear." He teased.
