Gilbert (1P Prussia) and Gilen (2P Prussia) are actually very good friends. Other than the most 2Ps, Gilen is like the Canada in the 2P world.
He is forgetten, depressed, suicidal, scared and...literally everything what 1P Prussia (canon) isn't.
If Gilbert feels sad he goes to the mirror and talk with Gilen.
The two help each other to not lost themselves.
Sometimes Matthew talks with Gilen too.
Actually, I see them as a family or brothers.
Matthew and Gilbert as the parents and Gilen as their son.
They cheer each other up and always talk with them.
Such a relation to a 2P is very rare...
I know that Matthew and Matt have something similar but not that...strong.
Anyway, they are best friends.
(And a side headcanon: Matthew is interested into Gilen, he thinks he looks awesome...
I imagine Gilen btw, with long hair, a metal arm and the Outfit of Prussia as The Teutonic Knights.)
