Denmark wants to make everyone smile because he always gets flashback how he used to treat others.
He has flashbacks of him, standing in Stockholm in the middle of a blood bath with hundreds of corpses around him and Sweden, screaming at him.
He'll remember that everyone left him....except for Norway.
Also a reason why Denmark wants to make Norway happy.
He refers to himself as the ,,happiest country" because he is scared people might remember the terrible things he has done to mainly Sweden.
But also invading England as a viking.
He fears, people will be scared of him.
