The next morning I woke up to Zayn walking around getting dressed, sitting on the edge of the bed facing away from me. I pushed myself up before wiping at my face, looking at his inked back, noticing that he was staring at me from the reflection in the mirror.

"Morning." I mumble, softly.

Everything else was incredibly quiet around the house, I couldn't help but to question if we had been alone in the house today. Which is something that hasn't happened in a while, since things have been going crazy since Andrew wasn't around to help Zayn.

We're alone right now, left for the wolves and that scared me a lot, I could only imagine what it actually did for him to say the least.

Zayn sighed deeply while looking at me, before his eyes focused on something else rather than me. "Goodmorning, firecracker." The softness laced inside of his voice, made me realize how exhausted that he actually was, this was also taking a very large toll on his mental health too.

I pushed the covers away from me before scrambling up, crawling towards his back and gripping his broad shoulders.

My hands traveled all over his body before placing kisses among his neck, while humming, softly and resting my head against his back. While he held onto both of my hands.

"You're exhausted." I mumble against his skin, before looking at him in the reflection. The dark bags underneath his eyes made me sad, realizing that we've been going nonstop. "We need to stay in bed today, just focus on a lot of other things rather than doing any type of hard work.."

He kissed both of my hands before reaching behind, holding me closer to his body. "When it comes to a job like this, you can't help but to lose sleep." The way it came out made all of this seem like he had no other choice at all, but that was the issue. We did have a choice. "You need it more than me, especially after yesterday."

Obviously, I didn't want to even think about yesterday. But we had to speak about it, that was one rule I wanted settled between us. Being open about everything, hardships and all. We had to do it.

"About yesterday...." My voice spoke out softly, as he turned around to face me. "I feel like you were a bit harsh on Caleb, when he actually helped out and did a lot for us that Jerry hesitated to even do." I admitted to him while Zayn looked nowhere else, but my eyes which made all of this a lot more intimidating.

Jerry was meant to be a trusted employee that worked alongside us, but he actually hasn't done much to prove himself. If it wasn't for Caleb, then god knows what could've happened to Louis and I...

"You know I have very little trust for people, and he betrayed that a long time ago. Many don't get the luxury of even living, after letting me down."

My eyes closed softly at that once he jumped up, obviously getting angsty from this conversation. I don't know what exactly is going on between them, but I do wish it'll be settled already.
