Everything was set. We were now preparing to head out, not without me ordering a few men to watch over certain key points, one being my mom and sisters, Ryder's mother, and the rest are going to do other things for me, and the others being with Erica since I know she decided to go back to the hospital.
Probably too distraught to even act like everything was normal right now, and since Bianca had a bunch of her minions attack us at the hospital. I'm sure a few people had gotten hurt because of it, which left a lot of things piled on top of my plate. But I knew Haz would be pissed if I hadn't made sure that his girl was protected, and honestly it's better if she's there.
But she was right about one thing. It wasn't fair to leave Harry out for the wolves, all while trying to do the right thing. I wanted my son home with me badly, he deserved to be in his father's care rather than wandering the streets alone. That is one thing I don't want for him, a life that I've had..
There have been times where I've wandered the streets all night, uncertain of the next meal I was going to have, and that idea of Zahir crying about being hungry pissed me off certainly. This needs to end once and for all, not just for the sake of exhaustion about this whole thing that has been happening for years.
But the fact my son probably doesn't even know my own name, or the fact I've been out here searching and begging for him. Now I'm past that. I'm doing what's right.
Somehow all of that ends up with me thinking about everyone, and how they suffered because of this war between Brooks and I, which made me realize how much Ryder has been through as well.
I owed her the damn world, because no one should go through any of this. Once I get my best mate back, we're officially going to get my son. Ending all of this once and for all. And Allah knows if I have to take a life in order to protect my family, then it is going to be done personally.

Brooks got people from his team to give him the address where Floyd resided, apparently he also stayed there with Bianca, it appears they were a thing for a while. He just never really brought her around, Floyd was the only one that had connections with him.
And Brooks was just Floyd's employee, so, he had no idea about her doing anything besides her being Zahir's surrogate and Ryder's cousin. Obviously, surprised about this. But I've been telling him this for years, the fucker was just hard of listening.
