(Some steam)

You hadn’t meant for any of this to happen. You hadn’t meant to find yourself traveling with three other people. You hadn’t meant to get caught up in their mess. You hadn’t meant to start traveling with the Brotherhood Without Banners. And you most certainly hadn’t meant to fall in love with Gendry Waters.

Gendry was strong and handsome. He was kind and maybe a little naïve about the world, but you loved him all the same. That was what drew you to him. It happened slowly, over time. You weren’t exactly warm and fuzzy with each other when you first met. You were suspicious of everyone, with good reason, and Gendry hadn’t had a lot of friends in the past. But after a while, you grew more comfortable with each other. At first, you thought it was just attraction, maybe lust. It wasn’t. You were beginning to love him. Although the lust was certainly there as well. Which is what lead you to where you were now.

“Are  you sure?” he breathed out and you nodded eagerly. You had managed to sneak away from everyone else and you were determined to make the most of it. The two of you hadn’t spoken about your feelings for one another, yet you couldn’t help but think this is where it was going to lead either way. With Gendry’s lips on yours and his hands all over you.

You met his lips happily, a content hum in the back of your throat that quickly turned into a moan as his hands began to roam. You pulled away to find Gendry smirking at you. You rolled your eyes, making the smirk drop. “Are you sure it’s me you want? After, I’m just a bastard.” You let out a scoff. “Gendry, shut it and kiss me again. I don’t care that you’re a bastard. It means nothing to me or anyone else out here. I want you.” That was all he needed to hear before his lips were on you again.

“SEVEN HELLS!” You ripped away from Gendry at the sound of Arya’s exclamation. She and Gendry had tried to convince you that she was a boy when you first met them, but you had known better. Still, you’d kept the secret. You only hoped she’d return the favor now. You felt your skin heat up as you looked over at her. Her mouth was open in shock as her eyes darted between you and your lover. Or rather, your would-be lover…if people would stop interrupting you.

You glanced back at Gendry and saw his face was bright red. He was just as embarrassed as you were at being caught. “What are you doing out here?” you managed to ask, proud that you kept your voice even. She crossed her arms and smirked at you. “Apparently, interrupting. Dondarrion says we’re moving soon.” She turned on her heel and left you and a still blushing Gendry behind.

With a sigh, you got close to Gendry again. He refused to meet your gaze. “Are you alright?” you asked after several silent seconds. He finally snapped his head up and you could see a fire in his eyes. “I want you, Y/N, but these interruptions are going to kill me.” You laughed softly. “I know. It’ll happen eventually. I promise. Now come on before they leave us behind.” Before you could head back to camp, Gendry grabbed your arm and pulled you to him. His kissed you once more, making you sigh.

When you pulled away, you were breathless. “That should hold me over until we can be alone again,” Gendry stated as he stepped away and stooped to pick up his pack. A hand on his arm stopped him. He looked up at you in confusion. You bit your lip. “On second thought,” you started, “We can catch up later.” Gendry grinned and stood to his full height. No sooner was he fully standing were you attaching your lips again. And this time, you didn’t care if you got caught. All you cared about was Gendry.

He pulled away to catch his breath, but his mouth was near your ear. “I love you,” he muttered. You couldn’t help but grin at that. “I love you, too,” you replied softly. Gendry pulled the rest of the way back so he could look into your (e/c) eyes. His own blue eyes were wide in surprise. “You do?” With a laugh, you nodded. “Of course. You think I’d sneak away with just anyone? Granted, I never expected her to catch us.”

Gendry laughed along with you. “I’m happy she did though,” you said, “I don’t like hiding or sneaking around. Not when I feel the way I do.” You embraced Gendry a little closer and felt his lips graze your forehead. You stayed that way for a minute, just enjoying being together. It didn’t last long though. “GODS WOULD YOU JUST COME ON ALREADY!” You jumped at the sound of Arya’s voice. “I’m gonna kill her,” you whispered, making Gendry chuckle again. You gave him a quick peck on the lips before grabbing your things and heading out, his hand in yours.
