Laf pov
I changed into the red dress Herc had made me for my birthday and walked out of my dorm room. Eliza, wearing a pale blue dress immediately shoved me back.
"You can't see each other before the wedding!" She hissed "God, you look beautiful"
"Thanks"
"Okay, you stay here and I'll get my sisters to come and do your makeup"
I smiled and sat on the couch.
A minute later, the Schuylers, Maria and Anna bustled through the door. They pulled out makeup cases and shoved me into a chair by my dressing table.
"That dress suits you so much. It compliments your eyes so well! Also it doesn't hang awkwardly like some dressed do" Anna gushed
"Um thanks...How do you know so much about clothes?"
She looked away "I did modelling for a bit" She muttered
"I can see why. You're really pretty"
"Thanks" She stared at the floor
"Hold still" Angie directed and began applying mascara on my eyelashes
"Is this really necessary? I mean-" I looked in the mirror "Woah...I look hot!!"
Angie giggled and drew little wings with eyeliner. Eliza and Peggy made tiny braids in my hair, whilst Anna and Maria complimented me.
I smiled. This was fun. I tried to imagine what this would be like if I were about to actually get married, but I couldn't.
I held the ring on my finger out in front of me. "I can't believe I'm actually getting married"
"Don't worry, you're not getting married right now" Peggy giggled
"No, I want to get married...as soon as I can. I love Herc so much. Why wait?"
"Laffy, don't you think it's a little soon?" Eliza placed a hand on my shoulder
I thought for a second "At first I thought it was...but now I just know we're gonna be together forever so why not start now?"
"But, you're 19" Angie said softly "What if you find a better guy?"
"No one is better than Herc"
"I think they should get married no matter how early it seems to be" Anna spoke up
"Thank you!" I turned to the others "Can we get on with my fake wedding now?"
Herc pov
Alex, John, Liam and Thomas - all dressed in suits - were standing in Thomas's dorm whilst I had a mental breakdown.
"What if he says no!? What if I say 'I don't' by accident and then he thinks I don't love him?! What if I say the wrong name?!"
"Dude, you're not even getting married yet. This is a game we're playing cuz we're bored" Alex sighed.
"But what about when I do get married? I know I'm gonna mess up! Maybe I should call it off..."
"WOAH!! Hold up there! No one is calling off anything" John took hold of my shoulders "Do you love Laf?"
"Wh-?"
"Do. You. Love. Laf?"
"Yes. SO much"
"Then, why the hell are you getting cold feet?"
