The second the Host Club ended Saiki wasn't even able to place down the tea set full of empty used cups in the Host Club's back kitchen, before he was forcefully dragged out of the room by the end of his home-made sweaters, at first thinking this was Suoh or Haninozuka who wouldn't get their eyes off the commoner, it was soon found out that this action was actually from the poorest host club member and honor student.

"One-tenth, one-tenth," she hummed a tune she made of how much money she wouldn't be indebted to, while she happily pulled on Saiki left and right, while the second honor student, just let her drag him knowing he couldn't escape even if he wanted to. By the time they got outside Haruhi switched from holding onto his sweater to grabbing onto his hand so she knew Saiki wouldn't even think of running away.

"Can you let go of my hand? I know I'm not getting out of this." He asked as he took his hand away from her (surprisingly strong for a "normal" human) grip, the quiet fangirls who watched from the bushes sighed in despair, but they had already begun to 'ship' the two together, and Saiki wasn't enjoying that while girls made a title for their romance in case someone wanted to write fanfiction or something stupid like that. 'The Smart Romance', 'The Pretty and Less Pretty', 'The Commoner Love,' they weren't great names, to say the least.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, sure," she snapped out of her long gaze of owning the money she owned in her imagination and went back into the real world.

Welcome back.

They soon walked awkwardly with each other, Saiki walking a few paces back for Haruhi to lead him to their house. Saiki found it strange that there were no nuisances following her around like they did to him but shrugged it off as her just being blessed by the gods, but it didn't leave, and a short while later he came to the conclusion of: Maybe he was the nuisance, but before he could start panicking of turning into something he thought he'd never be and turning into it, they had suddenly stopped.

They had finally reached the flat, and Saiki's thoughts disintegrated into thin air (Like what he had tried to do with Nendo)

"Mine is the top one of the far left," she pointed to the top one of the left, Saiki nodded. It was quite small, Haruhi's family might have been lower middle class, but it was still nice and presentable. (He couldn't say the same from the time he went to Kuboyasu's house.)

Saiki stayed quiet as he usually does as he followed his Kohai up the stairs and into her home, where another thought had suddenly circled around the room as he neared her house, it sounded familiar, to say the least.

"Dad! I'm home," Haruhi hung her bag on the hat stand, as she did the same to Saiki's who passed her his bag.

"Ooh! My Haruhi is back, just on time too!" a familiar voice soon turned into a familiar face as he spun out of the corner of a room which held a low table. "And with a boy too?" he glanced at Saiki in surprise and walked up to him, pinching his cheeks, but it didn't turn into the 'fish face' Ranka wanted so he just 'investigated' his face.

"Oh! You're that boy from the store," he cooed and clapped his hands, "If you plan on marrying my beautiful daughter, I allow you," he whispered, but Saiki side glanced and looked straight ahead, ignoring him, "No? Not yet? You'll get around to it, only the best can have my daughter! No one else!" His finger waved in the air.

"I need to go to work a little more today, mucha love you Haruhi," he kissed her and then shut the door behind him as Haruhi sighed. 'I do wish he could stay at home longer, but that hasn't happened in a while,' she thought as the quiet laid over them, "So!" Haruhi clapped her hands together as she tried to take out a cookbook from the high shelf.

"Let me just..." she groaned as she went on her tiptoes to get the book. Saiki rolled his eyes, she was wasting his time, why couldn't she just ask for help? Saiki walked behind her and grabbed the cookbook, handing it down to her.

She was looking up at Saiki, her head bumping into his chest. "Oh uh, thanks Senpai." she said as Saiki nodded and stepped back, from the 'bubble' space that was being seriously popped.

"Okay," she skimmed through the pages of the neatly handwritten book, "we can do..." she muttered as she looked over the pages. 'Sushi, soba, teriyaki, yakisoba, spring rolls, fried rice, sukiyaki...' her thoughts went off and on with all sorts of meals.

After passing a few more meals she slams her book shut quickly and suddenly, "Okonomiyaki." she nodded her head, "Today we are prepping Okonomiyaki," she agreed to herself.

Saiki never actually made Okonomiyaki before as he never really enjoyed cooking, though he had tried it a few times since his mother made it on several occasions, and he only washed the dishes.

"Okay," she interlocked her fingers and stretched out her arms to crack them, "let's begin."

Saiki had much better occasions in cooking than what happened that day, Saiki stopped the oven from blowing up since it was at least forty years old, the moment Haruhi turned her back, but things didn't go back to normal, so they could finish up quickly... no, the gods didn't like him that much, as then flour fell and the yam didn't cook right.

Worse of all, there was a bug inside the house, where Saiki accidentally set a bourbon filled pan on fire while it was on the stove to the max, which Haruhi accidentally left it on.

So there was Saiki in the kitchen with chemicals from a fire extinguisher all over him and Haruhi, with a bit (Lots) of flour also covering him from head to toe and the bright red extinguisher loosely hanging on to the teen boy's finger.

Saiki used his powers a little more often than not, that he was surprised that he didn't have to erase Haruhi's memory since she hadn't caught him once in this trial.

If it weren't for the fact that he knew Haruhi, and how Haruhi didn't know her brother, Saiki would have thought this was one of his stupid games.

"Uh, I think it's better if we keep you at baking and not cooking," Haruhi said smartly as she looked around the kitchen, and covered her mouth with a handkerchief keeping herself safe from the chemicals from going into her system. Saiki nodded blandly, he should have seen this coming.

Good grief, I just wasted my time.
