Chapter 3

Brock's POV
"So Nurse Joy, Is it alright If I ask you to show me some of the things I can Help out with?" I asked politely, she nodded softly, gesturing him to follow her into the Back where the Healing room's were. 

"This is the Healing room, this is where Chansey goes to heal the Pokémon that gets brought here" Nurse Joy explained in a calm and Hush tone "Chansey!" Nurse Joy's Chansey happily cheered, I Smiled and softly waved at the Adorable Pokémon.

"As you can see, Above the Bed, is the Monitor we use to distinguish and examine the Pokémon's Injuries" Nurse Joy pointed out, "What about those Pokémon who are really injured? and the Potions don't work?" I asked

"There is a more concealed room. where Chansey, or me, can focus on treating that Pokémon" She said "I see, well thank you Nurse Joy, Whenever I don't have a battle I'll be helping you out here, I apologize if I'm intruding in any way" I  stated, bowing slightly "O-oh No! Its fine really, I-I'll need the help" she stuttered out, surprised at the sudden formal apology.

I smiled and chuckled softly, Leaving the Back room together with nurse joy and Back in the Lobby, "Is it alright if I send out My Healing Pokémon to help as well?" I asked "why yes" She replied with a sweet smile, I took out a poke ball and released the Pokémon inside "Chansey!" The Pokémon that came out Chirped happily.

"Chansey we're going to be helping Out Nurse Joy here at the Pokémon Center, I'll Be trusting you to Help out as well" I Mentioned to the Pink Pokémon, it nodded and gently Waved at Nurse joy and her Chansey, "Hello Chansey" Nurse Joy sweetly greeted "Chansey!" Nurse Joy's Chansey greeted as well, they seem to have started talking, 

after a while two trainers Came running through the door "Please help!" They exclaimed, One thing that caught my Attention was the Very Injured Pokémon in their Arms "I-I'm sorry boys but I can't do two at a ti-" 

"I'll take the Other one Nurse joy" I cut Nurse Joy off,  She stared at me dumbfoundedly for a second, but only nodded in response, trusting me to do what I offered to do in the first place.

"Please wait here" Nurse Joy said as we ran into two Separate rooms, My Chansey Stuck to my side as we placed the injured Pokémon on the Pokémon bed "Okay Chansey, Nurse Joy and This Pokémon's Trainer is Trusting us, let's do a good job" I stated to Chansey 'Yes!' Chansey Replied with Telepathy, I started to check the poor Pokémon's injuries, serious cuts could be seen, I knit my Eyebrows together and started treating to them quickly "Hold on there Pichu" I muttered under my Breath.

~A Few hours past~

I came out with Pichu's poke ball in hand, I smiled proudly and headed over to the Lobby, Nurse Joy stood there, watching Chansey hand over the Other Boy's Pokeball as the Other Boy asked panickily for his, I smiled slightly and walked over "Here you are, Your Pichu Is good to go" I told him with a sweet smile, he smiled brightly and thanked me.

As the Two Boys left,  "Good Job there" Nurse Joy Praised "Thanks, Studying Medicine for 7 years on a mountain pays off" She just stared at me dumbfounded "7? On a...Mountain?" She asked quite confused "Yup.. 7 years" I repeated 

"Oh right, I was supposed to tell you our situation" I remembered, She turned to listen, curiosity evident in her eyes. "Me, The Short boy with Glasses, and the Guy with the Lab coat, followed the Guy with the cloak to Mt.Silver after getting betrayed by other Friends, and his only family" Nurse Joy stared at me, frozen in Place

"As we headed to the Top of Mt.Silver, after reaching the top, we spent 7 years there, Training, and for me, well Studying as well" I added "I'm Happy He has such great Friends with him" Nurse Joy hummed with a Smile, this made my heart skip a beat 

'M-man it's been so long since I've ever felt that way' I mentally noted as My Chansey 'accidentally' pushed me, making me get a bit closer to Nurse Joy, this made us both blush softly, I stepped away quickly and Looked away flustered.

Ash's POV

"You Know that Nurse Joy down there right? She looks like she may Like Brock" I yawned out to the other Two in the room "Really?! That's new, Usually Brock is the one crushing on nurse Joys" Max laughed out "He does Look more Handsome if you think about it" Gary said "We all have Gary" Max said "What???? No we didn't, I mean you all did, don't know about me" Gary humbly stated, 

Me and Max stared at him dumbfoundedly "We all know that you know Gary" Max clicked his tongue "Whatever, I'm just trying to be humble" Gary said, the two of them Laughed.

                 knock, Knock, Knock, 

'A visitor? how can we have a visitor already?' Pikachu wondered out loud with the help of Telepathy, I tiredly stood up and decided to answered it.

"It's Nice to see you Ash, I believe the last time we met was at the Lily of the Valley Conference in Sinnoh? " He chuckled softly "Mr.Goodshow, It's Nice seeing you too, Come in, It's been too long" I stated and let him inside "Thanks" he thanked and went inside, 

We sat down at the couch as Pikachu and Lucario headed to the Kitchen "So Mr. Goodshow, what brings you here?" I asked "Well I wanted to see you of course, your friends too, I already saw Brock, he was with nurse joy, they seem weirdly shy around each other" Mr.Goodshow laughed out

This caught the attention of the other two trainers in the Room, Max suddenly Rushed out the door with Gary "I see they're.. Excited?" He chuckled out, I sweat dropped  "Anyways, Ash" Mr. Goodshow started, "We should catch up, what have you been doing these past 7 years?" He asked, getting tot he Point.

 "Well, after I was Betrayed, Me and my Remaining friends went to Mt.Silver, after that, Professor Oak told me he ringed my Old rivals back in Sinnoh and Unova, Paul and Trip, I've kept in contact with them, they would sometimes visit us in the Mountain too but not for too long, just a bit of training here and there, Video games, and Gossip" I mentioned.

"Then I sent this letter?" He asked "Yeah, Now I'm here, at the TBC tournament" I huffed out "You know, I'm cheering for you to win this" he hummed to me "Why is that?" I asked "I want to see that noisy and optimistic Kid, achieve his life long dream" he Chuckled out, I huffed at this, mentally smiling

"I'm gonna Achieve it, no matter what"
