Chapter 50

               Serena watched as Bonnie's Trainer Profile get crossed out and transitioned to the side panel, "Serena.." A young girl's voice called to her, Serena turned around and saw Bonnie looking at her with a sad smile.

               Serena stood up and gently pulled her into the empty seat next to her "You did great out there Bonnie" She complimented, patting Bonnie's head softly

                Bonnie smiled painfully and nodded "I did didn't I..!" She giggled sadly, May, Misty and Serena looked at her worriedly "You'll get him back next time..." Misty comforted "Yeah...! You're a really strong trainer! you'll be able to beat him next time!" May Added, their comforts made the small girl smile widely "yeah! I'll beat him the next time!" she giggled happily

                 "Oh!" Red exclaimed, this made the girls turn to him quickly, they saw a woman with pink hair standing there "H-hello" She greeted softly "Nurse Joy?!" The girls exclaimed "What are you doing here? what about the Poke Center?" Misty asked hurriedly "O-Officer Jenny said she'll be able to work it out somehow.." she shyly responded, 

                  "Did you come here to watch Brock Nurse Joy?" Bonnie asked, The poor woman flared up in embarrassment, in the Poke Center, she was calm and reserved, but who knew she was also shy?

                   "Ash asked you to come right?" Red asked with a chuckle, she then nodded softly "Apparently He asked officer Jenny to let me come at a later part of the match.." She said meekly, 

                    "What a Battle! Bonnie fought hard until the very end! But Paul was able to thrive in the end! making him get a spot in the Top 4!" The Emcee announced, the crowd roared in response 

                     Red Gently stood up and handed Angela to yellow "please sit nurse Joy" He offered "A-Ah! you don't Have to Mr. Ketchum" she kindly declined, he sighed and gently ushered her to sit on his seat, pushing her shoulders down "My Son will probably scold me If He knew that I didn't let Brock's girlfriend sit" He scoffed

                      Nurse Joy Blushed madly at that, speechless, the girls giggled at her red face "W-what about you Mr. Ketchum...? where will you sit?" she asked "don't mind this old man, just enjoy the battle" He said before disappearing into Thin air, at first the girls were shocked, but just accepted that Ash and his Dad were mere monsters.

                       "Now it's time for the second to last battle for a spot in the top 4!!" The Emcee roared, hyping up the crowd once again "the Battle will be... Max maple vs. Brock!!" The Emcee Proclaimed, once again Livening up the crowd

                       The Two trainers stepped onto the Field with head's up high, taking their Places "On the Blue side, we have Max Maple! Son of Norman Maple the Petalburg City's Gym Leader! And On the Red side we Have Brock! former gym Leader of Pewter City gym, What an Interesting pair indeed! Will Max take a spot in the top 4 as one of the youngest competitors of the title for Pokemon champion?! Or will Brock steal that chance away from him?!" the Emcee Bellowed 

                        Max just cringed at the Emcee's Words, Brock just chuckled at the Emcee's words "He sure is Loud" Max said in telepathy "He's just excited" Brock answered

                         "This is a battle between Max Maple and Brock, this will be a 4 v 4 battle, substitutions are allowed, mega evolution is allowed, and the last Pokémon Standing will secure the place of the Trainer in the Top 4" the Referee announced for the 3rd time today, they both stared at each other, their expression's being serious

"Trainers, Send out your first pokemon!"

"Golem!"

"Banette!"
