I woke up with a soft Yawn, rubbing my eyes a bit as I gently sat up, I looked around the room and Saw Pikachu sleeping soundly next to Eevee, I stood up and made my way to the Bathroom, quickly washing up and changing
"Today is the final Day of the tournament... after the Top 8, Top 4, and Top 2 battles are over, It'll be the Battle with Diantha Next... to become Pokemon Champion..." I said to myself
I sighed, walking out of the Bathroom, I made my way out of the room and saw the rest of the Guys in the Living room, I smiled slightly
"Finally you're awake" Gary chuckled
"Am I the last one up?" I asked sitting down next to Him
"of course you are, you wouldn't be Ash if you weren't" Brock said with a small chuckle
"I feel Hurt" I said with a pout
they then laughed, Once the laughter died down though, their expression changed into a serious one, Everyone looked a bit tense, I sighed and sat up straight
"No Matter who battles who, No matter who wins , No matter who loses, Nothing is gonna change between all of us" I stated
they all looked at me, and smiled
"We weren't really planning on Changing because of this" Paul said
"we're still gonna be best friends!" Max stated happily
"It's a Bit weird using the term 'Best friends' when we're this old" Brock said
"Says you" We all said in Unison
we then laughed, we then heard a Knock on the door, Max stood up and answered it
"Hi guys.." Bonnie greeted anxiously
"Hey Bonnie, Clemont, are you two ready for today?" I asked
Max let them in, and they sat on the couch next to us
"Ready as we'll ever be, we won't hold back" Clemont said proudly
"Good, we all have to do our best" Gary said
"Today, we aren't friends, we are opponents" Brock said
"But no matter what, we'll still stick together" Max said smiling cheekily
This made the anxious looking Bonnie smile, Looking at the 8 of us, I can't help but smile wide
"This is it, today will determine our faiths" I said
"To being Pokemon Champion!" Max cheered
"To being Pokemon Champion!!" We repeated
And thus, we make our way out the door, Preparing ourselves mentally, to see which friend is going to be our opponent, this is It
*Cue dramatic music and slow motion*
Authors note! This Is a pretty short chapter Iknow, after waiting 2-3 weeks with no updates this isn't enough, that's why the day after tomorrow I'm gonna post 2-3 new chapters, those will be pretty wordy since they'll be the Pokemon battles, so yeah, to represent my coming back for 2-3 weeks of Hiatus, have a picture of Taz, from ClickforTaz on youtube
